  1. " MKZ " will be discontinued and replaced with an actual name. Lincoln is not dropping the car.
  2. The Z/28 wasnt necessarily over produced... The reality was it was overpriced... http://gmauthority.com/blog/2015/11/deal-alert-2015-chevrolet-camaro-z28-sees-25000-slashed-from-msrp/
  3. In the OP. " the new engines will feature dual overhead camshafts, four-valve combustion chambers, flat crankshaft, titanium connecting rods, and possibly dual injection (port and direct) " And somehow, without FI... " 5.5L LT6 could produce 700 horsepower "
  4. Fun Fact Ford moved more Mustangs in February 2017 than Chevy has with the Camaro YTD
  5. Liar. I have never combined Ford/Lincoln sales
  6. GM going FPC??? Can't beat your cross town rival, join them.
  7. Pure speculation. By your own admission, wouldn't I add Escape and MKC sales together? and Edge/MKX, and Fusion/MKZ? And sorry, GMC is not Ford's Lincoln. While GMC has some premium/luxury trims, GMC is not a premium/luxury division.
  8. Never understood why some thinks it is such a great feat or bold achievement when combined sales of different brands outsell a single brand... Goofy fanboys
  9. GM is also offering 0% for 72 months + $5,000 off Suburban and Tahoe. Current Expedition is offering 0% for 60 months + $750 + $2750 Bonus Cash.
  10. General Motors Co. boosted incentives on its pickup models this month after its biggest foes gained ground, intensifying a price war within the U.S. auto market’s most hotly contested segment. Discounts averaged about $6,996 for the Chevrolet Silverado and $5,315 for the GMC Sierra this month through Feb. 12, according to J.D. Power dealer data obtained by Bloomberg News. Incentives on GM’s models surged 56 percent and 82 percent, respectively, from a year earlier as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV and Ford Motor Co. dialed back their spending, according to the researcher... ...GM is being “especially aggressive" on incentives, Brian Johnson, a Barclays analyst, wrote Monday in a note. The carmaker’s incentive spending on large pickups is at the highest level in data going back to 2012, “and the second highest month isn’t close,” Johnson wrote... ...“It’s taking a lot more incentives now to move the metal than it did last year or certainly the year before,” said Michelle Krebs, senior analyst with car-shopping website Autotrader.com. “Things are slowing.” GM spent 26 percent more in discounts on each Silverado truck than Fiat Chrysler paid per Ram and 85 percent more than Ford allocated for F-Series, according to the Power Information Network data, which J.D. Power doesn’t release to the public... ...GM also lost sales ground in 2016. Deliveries dropped 4.3 percent for the Silverado and 1.1 percent for the Sierra last year. F-series gained 5.2 percent to seal a 35th-straight year as the top-selling vehicle line in the U.S...
  11. Neville Chamberlain definitely wasn't saying that. His appeasement of, for example Germany helped lead to WWII. Now we have Merkel, Hollande, David Cameron, Trudeau etc etc following in his footsteps of appeasement.
  12. Whether its Calais, Paris, Germany, UK or Sweden, it's all the same...ungrateful illegal migrants rioting. They're turning their new host countries into the same lawless ( sharia law..ppfft ) cesspool they fled. http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/767218/Paris-riots-leaders-cowardly-Marine-Le-Pen-Francois-Fillon http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/767867/PARIS-riots-latest-fighting-barbes-metro-eurostar-gare-du-Nord Its all part of the Kalergi Plan. Ps... Looks like the Lefties were correct...illiterate, uneducated and unskilled migrants are good for the economy. Look at all the extra law enforcement now needed. All the extra First Responders/Firemen that are getting overtime. And how about all those contractors that'll be hired to rebuild the wastelands... http://www.therebel.media/paris_riots_mapped_20_no_go_zones_marked_as_violence_spreads_across_france
  13. Worldwide, Ford does the same thing you state with Ford of Europe. And they are not going on 2 straight decades of losses.
  14. " Adding SUVs and boosting market share were not key topics when talking about Opel a few years ago. Not when Morgan Stanley’s Adam Jonas and his team had classified Opel as the “single biggest threat” to GM’s long-term survival. According to their estimates, Opel and its UK sibling, Vauxhall, already had lost $16 billion in the previous dozen years and would bleed $1 billion more each year on average into the 2020s. " http://europe.autonews.com/article/20160131/ANE/160129856/how-opel-ford-will-make-europe-a-reliable-profit-source-after-years http://www.ien.com/operations/news/20852087/gm-may-have-buyer-for-moneylosing-opel Last year, Opel was a money loser to the tune of $.257Billion Sell the perpetual money pit
  15. It may have had good space. But that generation of Malibu was horrible. Squeaks, creaks, and groans ( interior and exterior ), shoddy front ends ( steering and suspension ), numerous electrical issues...
  16. This 2018, being such an improvement over the truck it's replacing - the one that was victorious in its latest and last comparison against the then new Tahoe - should be well received in the marketplace and help elevate this vehicle to greatly improved sales numbers.
  17. " The moment you declare a set of ideas to be immune from criticism, satire, derision, or contempt, freedom of thought becomes impossible " -Salman Rushdie
  18. Addition to your comment... " Fiddling with the SRT Performance Pages functions on the center-stack screen allowed us to add weight to the steering, which was good for self-centering and muscle-building but not much else. We also dialed up the firmness of the Bilstein shocks; the Sport mode provides a little better connection to the road but the Track mode is rather too stiff for the street ". So as we can see, like what Ccap mentioned, these Bilstein dampers are not of the continuously variable family like we see on equivalent Ford or GM vehicles. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2015-dodge-charger-srt-392-first-drive-review
