  2. The unedited commercial GM doesn't want you to see
  3. Fun Fact. F-Series outsold, not just Silverado and Sierra, but Silverado + Sierra + Colorado + Canyon COMBINED - 4 different model lines. F-Series sales are the best March sales in over 10 years...
  4. More often than not, the clarity of your posts/comments is atrocious. The Alfa had its problems with Motor Trend Editors. Ccap mentions " They suffered later in customers' hands not before they even leave the road testers' hands. " You reply with " As did the Corvettes and apparently now GT350s...... " It is well know the Corvette, in both Z06 and base, had issues in the hands of Editors of both C&D and M/T. That is not the case with the GT350. Can you not see the importance of clarity Stew?
  5. " Dearborn — Ford Motor Co. will invest $1.2 billion in three Michigan facilities to prepare for production of the all-new Ford Ranger and Bronco, and to support the company’s expansion into mobility. The company said Tuesday it will invest $850 million to retool its Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne for truck and SUV production; $150 million in its Romeo Engine Plant to expand capacity for several vehicles; and $200 million to build a data center at the company’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant. Ford announced in January the Flat Rock facility also would see a $700 million investment and 700 new jobs to support the production of electrified and autonomous vehicles. The total investment represents an additional $350 million above those negotiated as part of the 2015 United Auto Workers contract. Plans for the data center at Flat Rock are new; the company added $150 million to its budget for Michigan Assembly upgrades. The $150 million for the Romeo plant upgrades were previously outlined in the UAW contract. According to the contract, the automaker will invest at least $9 billion in U.S. facilities through 2019. 6. Using false equivalencies to make a point doesn't help assist in making a point.
  7. Yes. But Stew was painting an Alt Facts mural... I have yet to hear of Road Test Editors/journalists at M/T, C/D etc etc having issue like they had with the latest Alfa and Corvettes.
  8. Fake news. The GT350 aren't " suffering " in road testers hands like the aforementioned Alfa ( and Corvettes ) at, for example Motor Trend.
  9. 0-60mph 6.5sec [email protected] 1/4 mile for the F-250 Thats ridiculous for a Heavy Duty Work Truck. " During our loaded braking test at the track in which we loaded 3,300 pounds of sand against the bed wall to prevent sliding during brake testing, the Chevy bed showed some bending — almost into the cab. That did not happen with the other trucks. The bend did not prevent us from further testing, but it did require some creativity (a 2x4 wedged between the bed and cab) to make sure there was no metal-to-metal contact. "

  11. Over the weekend, with the help of a nice uncle, my niece is now a happy owner of a 2014 KIA Forte EX. It looks exactly like the one pictured.
  12. " As I coasted to a stop at the light, the Alfa’s stop/start system shut the engine off and simply never came back on, no matter what I tried—or how loud the cars behind me honked ". " If you’re still on the fence, do as our Big Test suggests and lease first. But no matter what, get AAA. "
  13. Why would Cadillac cancel the XTS, their top selling Sedan? That makes as much sense as someone driving an XA10
  14. I can/could see that also. And same with a GTDI V-6...
  15. "Rumor has it that GM is expected to make some radical changes to its full-size pickups in the form of aluminum-intensive construction in a bid to shed weight and improve fuel efficiency, following the F-150's move a few years ago. The company is said to be working on making stronger aluminum and learning from Ford's switch to aluminum. "The new Silverado will continue with refinements to the current V-8 engines, but it's also expected to get a diesel and mild hybrid option on the half-ton models. Currently the Duramax diesel comes only on heavy-duty trucks — and a turbocharged V-6 is also likely to join the lineup. A 10-speed automatic first seen in the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will find its way into some trucks at launch. Expect to see the new Silverado in late 2018 as a 2019 model. Read More
  16. This thing is gawd awful hideous. And that ugliness, as pointed out, doesn't payoff in worthwhile usefulness
  17. At least the new ones can get out of their own way. Those OG RAV4's and CRV's were utterly pathetic...
  18. If it was a Type 1 split-window or oval, I can understand that. The new one (PQ34/35 ) is just a Golf/Tiguan/A3 in drag.
