  1. Nothing wrong with wait and see here...they have plenty of models anyways at the moment...
  2. I had high hopes for this....as I was not thrillled by the new Nox either.... Saw one at my local dealership-my jaw dropped-and not in a good way. It's like a box with really bad angles....
  3. Gotta go places first....hotels, work-stuff like that. See quite a few housing supplies leaving here heading south though....
  4. Dammit, our wheelchairs will be gas powered..... China is one of the few places it needs to happen. Anybody who has been there would tell us how bad it is. Europe will be tougher as like us, they want to hold on to the old school. Not sure we will see that kind of push here, but as they drop in price and become more common-I think we will see a good mix of both.....
  5. Same mean look too....
  6. I think they will...just in bits and pieces. I never see the gas engine going away, but there will be many choices to choose from. To be honest, I wouldn't mind having the best of both worlds on my commuter car. Now that fun car better be gas though.....
  7. Much better looking than the first one!
  8. Waste not, want not.... Pretty sure most of these cars will find good homes.....
  9. Yep, I would do it....while I like to drive-traffic sucks....
  10. Why pay money for company? Wait long enough and you can buy them at rock cheap prices when FCA folds....... And not in great health either......he doesn't want the stress....
  11. You can never forget an LX brother........and I agree.....
  12. Sadly, I only expect about maybe 65 percent of those will get replaced.... Many cannot afford another car....
  13. Discounts help, but agreed. It's hard not to like the twins....and they may not be very modern-but still damn fun to drive!
  14. And it's going to get worse. Even used car prices here are dropping.....people are just holding on to what they have because of all the crazy going on. Whether we want to admit it or not-we are heading into another recession. Companies are going to have to keep those discounts going if they want to keep selling stuff.....
  15. Simple, with good mileage....
  16. True, but I think a GMC Trax would be a waste....no matter how different they made it. At that point they could just use cars.... I looked on GMC's website for the new Terrian last night-and was shocked how much it cost! Heck, the only color they did not charge for was white! This is where GN could follow Jeep-They offer a package to go with their "sport" model Cherokee, with like roof racks and a nice set of wheels. For those who don't need the toys.... I was considering a Terrian...as I figure for a few bucks more, even the base model would offer more standard. I was wrong.... And I still like the idea of something maybe "lifestyle" model, maybe pick a model out of their models worldwide and try that.....
  17. How about making a cheaper version of the Terrian? The days of just dumping the same car with a different badge in every nameplate needs to stop. If Chevy an have a "value " Tahoe, then a "value" Terrian would make sense for GMC. If they need another model-maybe do something Jeepish or truckish and different....
  18. I think it's about time.... After the loss of a good friend this year- I think it's time to finish the project I put off for so many years-build myself a little pocket rocket. One thing I love about my Ecotec powered Cavalier is that it is pretty easy to turbo/Supercharge up.....and get it to around 220-240hp. And with an under 3000lb car-should help it scoot quite nicely. Then I have to make sure it can handle the turns after that... Happy to have a car project again....
