  1. See how much I give a $h! about brown interiors... More cleaning to me.....
  2. Hear you there...been hunting some parts for the wife's old 2003 Cavalier....while I realize there are still quite a few of these on the roads, have yet to find a junkyard one with useable parts for replacement.....
  3. Holy.... Waiting for the battle versus the Hellcat.....BRING IT!
  4. It better be shocking, that is for sure....
  5. I see the smaller trucks doing well over there...
  6. True, but they could be China built... Could even take a loss to get that foot in the door too.... Yeah, it's going to suck to be them in a few years.....going to bite them in the butt good. You'd think they would just do something more with the actual product- status products don't always have a long shelf life....
  7. Not sure why, but just looking at the truck has me thinking I am going to really like this new update......
  8. What Ford says and what they plan to do are different things. While that "might" be their plan- I can tell you that they are still not that sure internally what they plan to do. Rumors are still in the air if there is even going to be another generation of Focus in the US anyways...between the dropping sales and pending nasty dual clutch lawsuits coming....things are not looking good.... Volvo could be interesting.....my gut tells me that they build a plant (or buy) here in the US, though it could very well be automated.......
  9. And you would be very right my friend....
  10. What people want and what they can afford are two different things. And while no companies here in the US want to, doesn't mean there is not a market for it. Feature rich product people could actually afford and not lease might be bigger than people think....
  11. Would depend if they could really make money here. I am figuring the really only open part of the market right now is going to be the entry level ones....which I expect china market cars to take..
  12. Maybe. With all the crazy going on daily right now, I'm not so sure automakers are willing to take that chance....
  13. It's a good question GM needs to answer. It's one reason why it's dumb for them to try to benchmark the other two makers (Benz, BMW) when it simply best for them to due their own thing and promote that. The reason why (Buick, GMC) gave been successful is that they are doing their own thing.....time to do that for Caddy. Define and refine are my starting choices here......
  14. I think they need to worry about more about gently getting buick and GMC where they are a bit higher... In my eyes Caddy does not yet compete on a level where they could have a a 100k+ SUV....they need to define and refine the models they have now first.....
  15. I see them as being only part of what is on the road. I still see human driven cars, as people are simply not going to give that up with a fight. If people don't trust the government enough to give them their guns, I highly doubt they will give up driving themselves either.... The only way that I see this happening in any time frame soon is if it was government forced. People at their core still want choice, no matter how little there might be. While I wouldn't mind a car (or bus) taking me to say...work- I would still want the freedom to drive when and where I wanted to. And while I see it for the large cities, pretty sure it would be tough in say large rural areas.....
  16. You would figure GM would have a nice affordable package for it's base trucks too. For those who don't need it to have a bunch of junk (cause it's a truck) and just have a package to make it not look like a work truck (like a sport package). Would want my truck to be simple.....just need AC and a radio here....
  17. Agree...love the color....
  18. Good stuff all around. Though I have to admit- I like the buick badge on the Volt.....
  19. True....leases on some of the sedans (like the Malibu and Cruze) are pretty good...and I expect to get better (just not crazy better)
  20. One of the reasons we want to add to our fleet...been driving my Cobalt since 2008.....something newer would be nice. Though it is hard to own something long term here-as the salt eats these cars alive here. Both of our cars...no matter how much washing and prepping they get-are rusting up. (granted , my other car spends winter in the garage-no rust there) So you almost need a winter beater here in order to have a nice car.... I figure either an out of state used car or a left over new Cruze could be a good choice...
