Yep, that's the goal... And unless something happens to one of our cars, it looks like I'll wait till 2010 or 11 for a new one..... The Cav has been running Mobil 1 since 12k (46k now) with no problems. The Eco still runs like new. I do a good bit of city driving, so it should help in stop and go traffic.......

While there is nothing wrong with an Econo model or too, they should be fun. Heck, they could even update the Aveo (G3) with a mod or too, better tires and wheels, sportier struts/ springs and make it for fun to throw around... And if done right-it shouldn't even cost that much more...... -

Alrighty, you guys talked me into it. The Cobalt is getting Mobil 1 this week when it gets its oil change...and a nice Wix filter........ But, this is the first time I've put Mobil 1 in a car with this many miles (40k), so I will be keeping an eye on things. Besides watching the usual (seals and gaskets), is there anything else I should keeping an eye out for? I'm looking forward to the better milage and lower operating temps.....

Welcome to the Cobalt family, ocn! I must say, I like the moss green.... Though I found it funny that while the 09 Balts got those ugly wheelcovers, the Balt's old ones were donated to the G5! I like my Balt, expect for the seats.....they suck royally....They make my wife's Cav seats quite comfy in comparision....though I have a base model... She gets an oil change this week to Mobil 1.....should add an extra bit of pep.......
