  2. Wow, that was positive. Keep in mind, this is for the wifie (and still some months down the road) As much as I liked it, I'm looking more for some fun factor.... That, and she does like the Vue and the Nox' too... So we will see.....
  3. Yeah, I plan to give the 2.4 a try too..I have a feeling it will have some nice pep.... It's good that it somewhat like the old Vibe...beacuse she liked a lot of things on the old Vibe....(fold down front seat, stuff like that..)
  4. True, if you drive it in the real world..... A co-worker's wife has one, and gas milage is all over the place. Sometimes it will pull 40+mpgs, though nore often than not, it struggles to stay above 30...They have different different driving styles, but not enough to make a real impact. Much of those Mpgs will depend of the weather, traffic, and so on..... I come to find that GM's, while lower, also seem to be more real world...
  5. True. Sadly that will only be a matter of time.....
  6. Sometimes you have to have a place to talk... And an understanding bunch that listens....
  7. Very true..... My first car was a 87 Cavalier coupe with the "rally sport" package..... I only replaced a few things on that cav...the starter and fuel pump in the 75k that I put on it before a dumbass rear ended while it was parked... I loved the dark blue color, the rally wheels, the blacked out trim....the 2.0 had a decent amount of pep..... It even had a sunroof... I've had good luck with J bodies...... My 93 Cav wagon is still running well, with well over a 100k (142k) and the 3.1 has good power...... Even the wife's 03 w/ the Ecotec has been a good car....it just turned over 40k.... The one thing that annoys me in the 3rd gens (95-05) is that damn dash rattle......
  8. Nice.....
  9. Z- What color is that cav? I think we have all the blue ones here...that's the only color I see... I think I still have the booklet for the 2000 cav somewhere....
  10. Sweet!

  13. Hmmm...after hearing about all that- now I'm afraid to look...

I've only seen two... and one was on the side of the road...
  20. I can't think of one right now...
  21. Friends of our had another one at 37....and they are getting their butts kicked right now.... Being part of the 30 crowd myself, I think our little guy will be our only one... I don't want to push my health issues too much.. If you were under 30, I'd say go for it....
