  1. If it was an automatic, 68, I'd consider it... There is no way in hell I'm going the teach the wife how to drive a stick in a classic car... I myself love the muscle cars...but I just want a "cruiser" to enjoy. Something I can take others around in..even the little ones... And for my wife to truely get in to the classic thing, a long srive is the only way...
  2. I don't know why, but i find that quite cool.
  3. Yep, I know a few people like that... :AH-HA_wink:
  4. Agreed.
  5. Agreed. Just plain scary.
  6. Very scary... It would be hard the say that suicide is cowardly though, ocn. A few years ago I talked a good friend into not committing suicide. He scared the heck out of me. The reason he planned to do it was beacuse he figured nobody would care. I would agree with the selfish part.... But I think it would take some serious balls to do it....I couldn't see it as easy.
  7. Have fun!
  8. Wow...that just sucks...
  9. I drove both the 4banger and the V6 G6s... I do have to say I liked the GT. Good pick up..easy to handle..... The base wasn't bad, the ecotec could use more poines....
  10. Hmm..some good stuff to know... I only knew about the radio problem.... THough from what I hear, it has been an issue in G6s and a few Mailbus... Wonder what is up with the radios?
  11. Wonderful... I'd rather see the money spent on a better Nox' around the redesign.... I'm not so sure people are going to want a slightly faster mini-suv.....
  12. Glad to hear you're ok, Satty... like 68 said, an Impy would be a nice choice..
  13. Happy B-day!
  14. Panthers gone? Maybe-but if the old school trend contiunes...maybe not. Again, E85 could be the savior of truckers everywhere...
  15. Gee, I'm surprised people didn't bring up gas prices more..... that alone could alone could kill the V8-regardless of what it is in. BUT-just a few reasons why it will still kick around... Some of the most dependable engines ever were....quess what? -V8! E85-this could actually save the V8-not to mention trucks.... This had me thinking, as at first-I planned to get a Cobalt or mazda 3..... But if E85 does to nationwide.... A nice 07-09ish Silverado with 5.3 with DODw/ E85 cap would be just fine... You just can't beat the get-up-and-go of a V8..... I have to agree with Petra too....just soemthing quite good about that.
  16. hicks won..... lots of singing...
  17. If we get a wild increase this year-more than suvs are going to be in danger. As long as there is a push for E85-GM trucks have a good chance. I think sales of cars will be fine.......so they do an gas offer on the trucks... CHeaper gas may be enough for some to buy..for now.
  18. Hmmm....I don't. I don't hold anything against you , as I'm sure most of us don't. The past is the past. Stick around for awhile. I'm thinking you'll be glad you did. Just ignore Croc. You know how he is.... I'M JOKING CROC....just in case...
  19. :rotflmao: The color kills me....
  20. Yep.nuff said.
  21. I kinda feel like it 's "as the Gears turn" I've seen less drama then a bus full of cheerleaders.... Anyways, I'm quite glad to see the site will be around for quite a while.. that is good news.
  22. Ok, speak for yourself then...
  23. Because retail sales of the Uplander are ending soon.. Fleet is the only sale the uppie will have by the end of the year....
  24. I have to agree. It would destory Delphi, and cripple GM. I can't see Delphi striking, as they can ill afford to lose their contract with GM. I'm quite sure GM is shopping suppliers as we speak-I sure GM doesn't plan to let something like this happen again. We'll have to wait and see...
