2007 Tundra Falls Short in NHTSA Frontal Crash Test Rating
ford already has a truck commercial talking about its fully boxed frame and makes a big shot at the competitions (toyota's) 3 sided frame....LOL Like I said, you'll prbably see a nice chevy commercial about this this weekend when you are watching march madness.

the new VUE is awesome. It should totally compare to the RAV and it hands the CRV its ass on a platter.

GMC, not GMC trucks
it don't bother me, it's just not consistent with the name of GMC now.

Teacher who seduced boy sentenced to 10 years
she's NOT HOT. We're all hypocrites. Had she been hot, the punishment would have not been as severe, there may not have even been a rat out.

Just when you though EMO couldn't get any worse....
it's not a bad place to be, if your work is good, the clean air and open spaces and lack of liberal and socialist agendas in that state are very nice! Low cost of living. Every place is what you make it. I'd move back if I could get a decent job in my field, I think.

Toyota - Biggest Contributor to National Trade Deficit?
I am aghast at why they can sell a half a million camlees, when there are probably two dozen equally capable options that could divvy up sales a bit more. simple answer, people don't evaluate for themselves, they merely do what they are told.

Toyota dealers offer up to $1500 cash back on Tundra
GM trucks were getting all kind of love at the auto show. the turdras were pretty lonely. You make something ugly, it's bound to be alone.

GMC, not GMC trucks
GMC trucks dropped the truck part in the official name just recently. now its just GMC. No trucks. so let's drop the trucks bit ok? Its like apple computer. Now its simply Apple, Inc. No more 'computer'.
-
GMC, not GMC trucks
let's drop the 'trucks' from the forum header for GMC. GMC dropped the 'truck' after their name, so I think we ought to drop trucks from ours. Just a thought.

FIRST LOOK: 2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid
empowah's got it wrong here. financially, it makes sense for GM to develop a hybrid on a high volume vehicle like this that is very mainstream and one which will benefit from it the most. We'll save buttloads of gas on these vehicles and the money will be there to pay for it. putting a hybrid in their fuel suckers which everyone wants goes a lot farther than developing a prius clone, by the way the prius is now sitting on lots and no one is talking hybrids anymore.....too pricey and complex for small cars.

C&D Comparison: Aura 4th out 6
went to the autoshow again today. sat in many of the Jap anese cars and several Auras. I like the Aura more and more now. The Aura and Milan really made good impressions on me again today. Even though the Aura is a bit small, it's a very 'intimate' car. And all the people that sat in the Aura with me loved the Aura as well. Many commented on how much GM is improving interiors. The XR with leather and paddle shifters is a tremendous buy and a great car at around 26k. And the interior is a great single person mid sized sedan.

2008 Saturn Astra
auto show part 2. still love the astra after seeing it again today. Hope this car sells big. I think it needs a bigger motor and a better automatic. It is a looker though, in 2 doors and 4. Interior is way cool also.

2008 Saturn Ordering Guide
they had the 08 vue at the autoshow here, stood next to it with the doors open. Touched the door panels, stroked them. Lots of folks will be surprised at how nice the new Vue is. I think it will be a massive hit. The interior is very well done, and the exterior does not come off as 'Korean' as it does in the pictures. The interior has the tightest gaps I've seen from a GM offering. the materials are all very nice. This interior is top drawer, even if I am not crazy about the center console and armrest. I can't wait to see sales take off on this thing. Way classier than a RAV4, even if its a bit smaller. The new Outlander is nicer than the RAV4 and CRV by the way.

New 2008 Chevy Malibu styling
the 08 malibu styling does not make anyone want to AVOID the car, unlike the current Malibu. The current Bu is slightly atrocious and not a very inclusionary design. Have the new one share cues with many popular current cars cannot hurt. the latest Impala, same thing. Make the car generic but pleasant so as not to offend anyone. thank the sky above. the 08 malibu could have been an ugly turd * cough * camry.

Nissan Problems
interesting. this is huge.

Hyundai Veracruz
i saw the veracruz at the autoshow today. what a steaming ugly pile of you know what. they took the same dumb character line of the elantra (the korean hills or WHATEVER) and put them on a big ugly crossover. let me say this. everyone is TRYING to come up with the ultimate crossover. It is so obvious in the flesh that GM has done it with the Lambdas. Time will tell when the new lowlander and pilot come out. But the MDX is the ONLY crossover right now that has the sort of appeal the lambadas do. And you have to keep the prices close between the MDX and Acadia to say that. I don't even like the CX-9. Yuck.
