  1. You could also buy 3M's clear paint protectant tape. Friend of mine sells and uses the stuff. Works great. I have some for my car I plan t put on once I wash and wax it.
  2. I think wheels make a big difference in a car's visual appeal.
  3. And now it's mine. Just need to get the truck to go get it Friday morning.
  4. Scared the $h! out of him!
  5. Utility, nothing can match them quite the same way. Difference is that the minivans aren't relics on old platforms, "real" vans don't sell to anyone besides fleets for the most part. I like it, people should respect the van/minivan instead of thinking a wagon on stilts is somehow more practical.
  6. As far as teh site goes, pretty nice looking. However unless I can't find it (which would be a navigation issue) I don't see a whole lot of spec or photos about the products. I would like something that shows more in-depth detail than the actual Buick site does.
  7. Good things come to those who wait.
  8. I found it funny because they used GM and Ford vans, but what choice did they have? No one in America knows about whatever vans there may have been in Japan. Plu,s even if it did imply Ford and GM abandoning the van market...well whose fault is that? Ford and GM's. Corny, fun commercial
  9. Sometimes violence is the answer.
  10. Indeed, I fell in love with that color the first time I saw it at the auto show on a Challenger R/T.
  11. That is a good question. Somewhere between 1337 and the BMW.
  12. The Junkyard is your friend!
  13. So let's see where the score is... BMW > Cobalt > Rock > Millenia.
  14. When I had a Cobalt I got compliment from a kid. No stranger has ever said anything about tthe other cars besides the Grand Marquis. I was at Autozone and a guy about my age pulled up in an `04 and we shot the breeze for a little while. Oh and I got a thumbs up from a Jetta owner while driving a VW Bus....VW owners are special people. *nods*
  15. And here we go...also cleaned up some mistakes I found.
  16. I tired and it doesn't work do to the other minor but significant body changes I made...but I can just make my own.
  17. You know if we added your sweepsear character line to my belt line that would be pretty sweet. I though to do that, but got lazy and only had the start of one that disappeared into the rear doors.
  18. Was 49 until a couple hours ago. We're supposed to hit 80 Sunday Gotta love April. I love a/c...and I like to be cool. I'm not a fan of heat above 72, and I hate humidity. I miss central air...in KS even the cheap apartments like hours had it.
  19. Well, if history has taught anything, the belt line upkick (Camaro, Challenger, Mustang) has aged not only well, but is making a comeback. Not only on the retro cars, but modern designs like the Mazda CX-7 and the Charger. You're right, visibility is sacrificed a bit, but that's how it goes when function follow form. I think both chops are better than the original.
  20. It's an improvement but at the same time the wavy belt line looks more plain, and like a Buick from the 90s...and we should never go back there. I did a chop as well. http://www.cheersandgears.com/index.php?sh...c=30842&hl=
  21. All aboard the FAIL bus!
  22. Only thing I never cared for was the black plastic rubs trips and inserts. I know Saab did this too with their models up until recently.
  23. I gotcha.
  24. Ah ha! Here is the color that I want. Deep Water Blue Pearl
