  1. It was $0.88 in the mid 90's up here in MA. It's $1.81 down the street, but I bet in Salem, NH it's cheaper (usually is by a dime or so).
  2. I was very pleased with how dinner turned out, it wasn't overly huge (just 4 of this this year anyway), but the food was excellent. Dinner consisted of: Italian style Turkey (mother made this) Traditional bread stuffing (mother made this) Green bean casserole (girlfriend made this) Extra creamy mashed potatoes (I made this) Roasted butternut squash seasoned with butter, salt/pepper, and a little brown sugar, then pureed with butter, cinnamon, and salt (I made this) Cranberry sauce (canned) Corn seasoned with olive oil, salt, pepper, and butter Gravy (I made this) We were planning to do rolls but didn't get around to it. Dessert Traditional pumpkin pie with a little twist (I made 2, one for Sixty8) Apple Pie (Sixty8's wife made this for us) Lemon meringue pie (mother made this) Chocolate Satin Pie (bought this, have yet to open it) Gobble Gobble. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
  3. Oh man, seeing that interior just goes to remind me how far the new car has come in terms of design and quality, exterior too of course. That is a really nice shade of blue.
  4. I got a warning for having a blown headlight in the GM. That was irritating because I was waiting on the parts to fix it. My fault for driving it at night I suppose, but it gets annoying when you see dip$h! in his Honda Civic driving like a retard. Or that asshat who flies across all 3 lanes of highway traffic narrowly avoiding clipping other cars, etc. etc. and not pulled over. Of course Andover cops are dicks, it's common knowledge. By contrast the Lawrence police don't give a $h!. They never actually send a cop out when I've called at 3am because some dickhead in his Civic just did a burnout on the hill and woke me up. Last time they did it we just chased them off in our own car. f@#kers. It pisses me off to no end when pricks do burnouts late at night in a neighborhood. Take it to some rual street or something if you feel like blowing a tire. Of course these are the same cops that turn on their lights/sirens to go through a red light then turn them off afterward.
  5. No kidding. The weekend after CongASS told the Big 3 to go home and come up with a plan and ridiculed them for flying corporate jets, they hand out $20 billion more to $h!igroup, no strings attached.
  6. Oh spare me, he has said for some time now that we need to help the auto industry. He did say recently that he thinks they should show a plan. Your lovely Republican president/administration said they had no interest in bailing out the automakers.
  7. Still waiting for the damn turkey to be done. I can't wait to eat...made my special extra-creamy mashed potatoes. Also tried a new recipe for butternut squash...a bit heavy on the butter but it still tastes really good.
  8. I wish the Turkey was done. v_v
  9. Best video on Youtube. Ever.
  10. Srsly? OMG I hate that song...it's so retarded. Anyway, for the past 5 years or so we've been going to my cousin's for Thanksgiving which was always fun (his wife's dad is an awesome cook). This year they are going away for Thanksgiving, so we're doing it at home.
  11. I love these "unnamed sources". They could be anyone, saying anything. Hell I could be one.
  12. The Tylenol sever cold medicine works really well for me.
  13. Despicable. Where's the skit about the Tacomas braking in half, or the $20 billion Congress just gave to Citigroup no questions asked? Or the rest of that $700 billion bailout that was handed over to the assholes who causes the financial meltdown in the first place? (they may have done that skit, I dunno)
  14. 26,000 is way too low for clutch wear like that.
  15. Do they now? That's why nearly every automaker has been day these several months. The G8 is an excellent car, every auto rag has been saying that. You're so full of $h! it isn't even funny. You still don't realize that just because car A and car B are similar in price, does not mean everyone will go for car A. Car B has merits that car A does not, and that appeals to some buyers. Get a clue.
  16. I want to see it finished.
  17. I like the SSR but my girlfriend hates it.
  18. Well if you want to be technical, then yeah, it's the 2004 Chevrolet So-Cal SSR Bonneville SaltFlats.
  19. SSR I win
  20. Welcome back! Sorry to hear about the family issues but nice to hear from you again. That looks like a pretty sweet first car.
  21. Should have stuck with a Chrysler  Seriously though, that sucks that the clutch seems to be going...had to replace the Prizm's 2 years ago...retards didn't even do it right the first time.
  22. Well of course it was intentional because he kept revving the car after it got stock on the CV. Too funny, Sixxy8 will enjoy it.
