  1. I could, if I had the money for gas and such, bring my 195,000 original engine and transmission 2.7 Intrepid.
  2. R U 4 Real?! I thought only the terrible American automakers were doing poorly because they make vehicles no one wants that get .03 mpgs. THIS IS SHOCK
  3. Women love the Titty Bear
  4. So that means the McDonalds you mange will actually pay attention to the shelf life of the food? I think it was like 15 minutes for burgers, and them throw them out...like they ever do that. Congrats on getting certified!
  5. Didn't you just buy the G5?
  6. IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!! Couldn't resist your new avatar. They need to have a caravan. There's so much more substance to it than a website.
  7. My car had an issue were it would stall randomly but never throw a code. It took me months to fix it based only on info I found from forums where owners had similar problems and replacing the crankshaft sensor fixed it. There's nothing worse than a problem you can't identify.
  8. Screw the financial instructions. They are the ones mainly responsible for the economic mess in tghe first place with their shady lending practices. The government is happy to lend our money to them without demands for a plan to show how these institutions will fix their problems and not let it happen again, there's no paycut demand, and they still go on $200,000+ vacations. Meanwhile, the automakers want a small chunk of that $700 billion dollar loan to split amongst the 3 companies so they can survive. The banks just move paper around, the automakers employ and benefit millions of hard working middle-class people, and they actually build something. We loose them, not only do we loose millions of jobs but the ability to build anything, which means no way to build defense vehicles for the military should a large conflict occur.
  9. Hah, I knew they were junk, I just couldn't remember why they were junk when Sixty8 and I were talking about them Saturday. Anyway, that sucks about the Aurora, a shame to, they are such nice looking cars.
  10. Saw a new new F-150 last weekend.
  11. Glad to hear that it'll be covered under warranty!
  12. Those things...the GM came with a green one. Made it smell like an old guy's car...how fitting. My mom bought more of them. I hate them...when you first open one it's overpoweringly strong then quickly fades to nothing. What I do like are those Yankee Candle gel car fresheners. I bought one for the Prizm since it always smells (rats crapped in the air ducts while it sat for a few years in KS...the smell sometimes rears it's ugly head). Evening Breeze or something like that. Smells really nice, it isn't overpowering, and it lasts a lot longer than those lousy ones mentioned above. My car doesn't have one...I wouldn't mind one but there's no need; it smells like a well kept car.
  13. Isn't GME responsible for Saturn's latest models/renaissance? Remind me, how successful has that been thus far?
  14. The thing a bout having 2 brands is it's very easy to manage and keep them from overlapping. You've got your bread-and-butter brand and your luxury brand. You could theoretically have the BP Channel and have the three brands equal up to one brand: GMC: Trucks - Canyon replacement, Acadia and Sierra Pontiac: RWD Performance vehicles: G8, Solstice, Alpha, Together they'd make one brand's worth of vehicles, and different from Chevy (if you did enough to make the GMC line different) You could keep Buick as part of the channel just in a separate section of the showroom, sort of the Acura/entry level luxury brand, which could consist of the Enclave, LaCrosse replacement, a small premium car. However this costs more money, and would have to, you know, actually be properly managed by someone who can walk and chew gum, so to speak. Those are the 2 big problems GM has long had and still does IMHO. I would cut Saturn and Saab, both are sales failures. Whatever good product they might have in the pipeline could go somewhere else. And of course sell off Hummer.
  15. We enjoy posting Craigslist and eBay finds quite often on C&G, yet there is no dedicated place to post them. They simply get lumped into the lounge, and often get lost. I was wondering if it might be a good idea to have a dedicated section just for these sorts of posts. Something like For Sale Finds or something with a better title than that. Just a thought.
  16. We're on page 6 of this?
  17. I like the Malibu, as well as the CTS, and of course the Corvette and Camaro...that's about it.
  18. 2 Lotus Elises in one week, both blue, albeit different shades of blue. Silver Porches 911 Red BMW X6
  19. I really don't mind the seatbelt law, since it's common sense that so many people seem to lack anyway, and it should be done for safety's sake in the first place.
  20. Nice quality pictures you took, thanks for sharing! Lots to go through, but the FF ad-on I have makes it very easy too enjoy them all
  21. I don't find either bland, especially the G37 coupe and the new Maxima. The design is much more expressive than the last one. However since the Maxima cribbed the Infiniti's interior design it makes the Infiniti feel less special inside.
