  1. It's fun to bring old threads back from the grave.
  2. xB sales are up 17% but xD sales are down compared to xA sales.
  3. I think the Journey will do well, it's gotten some pretty good reviews. And yeah, since it more closely competes with the larger small crossovers (oxymoron?) like the Equinox, Rav4, Santa Fe and Edge, it won't really be cross shopped with the Lambdas, which are a good bit bigger (I think). Back to the Traverse...love that interior.
  4. What's the byproduct of Hydrogen ICEs? I've been wondering that.
  5. Looks liked an Escape with a Land Rover front clip, and very dated looking.
  6. Except it's not an apples to apples comparison since the Durango is a BOF SUV. The only thing Chrysler had that competed with the Lambdas was the Pacifica and they dropped the model.
  7. Th design I'm warming up to but damn, put some color in the interior guys....I bet that would make a world of difference. Steering wheel still sucks though.
  8. The leather stitching on the armrests is a nice touch, I just wish Chrysler would get a clue and stop showing off their interiors in gray.
  9. Again, I can't agree about the exterior. They're both good, although the Hourney doesn't have the odd tail light treatment like the Traverse does. Just my opinion.
  10. Reg, I wouldn't say it makes the Journey irrelevant, because the Dodge still has lots of practicality and features built into it you jus won't find anywhere else, and it have a very nice exterior IMO. However the Traverse absolutely shames it in the interior design department.
  11. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/News/articleId=124662#2 Hope that interior is available in other colors though, bleh.
  12. The doors I don't care about, They're easy to replace.
  13. Yep! Also, I suggest a thorough washing and waxing followed by extensive detailing inside and do some more outside, and top it off with premium fuel.
  14. I really like the Malibu-inspired interior. Chevy's interiors are really on a role! The Exterior looks really nice too, and actually different from its cousins. The only thing I don't like are the taillights which seem too small.
  15. http://www.thecarconnection.com/Vehicle_Re...181.A13873.html Chevrolet will join the trio of big GM crossovers with a fourth family vehicle, the Traverse. On display at the Chicago auto show, the Traverse is based on the same mechanicals as the Buick Enclave, GMC Acadia and Saturn Outlook. Chevrolet says it's targeting the likes of the Ford Edge, Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot with the new seven- or eight-passenger Traverse. The Traverse, which goes on sale in the fall as a 2009 model, shares some of the styling themes applied to the award-winning 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, GM says in a release. It's a distinct look with more crisp lines than either the Enclave or Outlook; details like the tailgate spoiler and a chromed grille surround give it a personality separate from the other big GM triplets. The Traverse's dual-cockpit design and large gauges tie it with other recent Chevrolet efforts. The Traverse will be offered in three trim levels: LS, LT, and LTZ. Each trim will be available in front- or all-wheel drive. A range of 17-, 18-, and 20-inch wheels will be offered, as will interior features like XM, OnStar, a rear-seat entertainment system, a panoramic sunroof and Bluetooth. The standard engine is GM's 3.6-liter V-6 with 281 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic is the sole transmission. Standard safety features include six airbags; anti-lock brakes; traction and stability control. Other options will include a rearview camera, rear parking assist, a power liftgate; a DVD entertainment system; a navigation system; heated mirrors; and remote start. The Traverse will be built at the former Saturn plant in Spring Hill, Tenn. Stay tuned for more on the Traverse as TheCarConnection.com reports from the 2008 Chicago auto show. More photos at TCC
  16. And that is why I own a katana. The best defense is a good deterrent Sorry about your poor Cobalt.
  17. Sure Sixty8 can seem pretty repetitive and crazy when he complains about the car not having B-pillar...but so what? So many of us here bitch and piss and moan when the plastics in the dash are not soft enough or textured to their liking so it interrupts their ability to practically f@#k the damn thing in comfort. He wants to buy some GM product that is a hardtop. Is that so much to ask? The Camaro is maybe understandable but there is no reason why the CTS Coupe couldn't have it. For me it doesn't matter. Hardtops are awesome but I don't mind hidden B-pillars and owning a classic hardtop would satisfy me plenty, but seriously guys, the way some of bitch you about the stupidest things, constantly, you really shouldn't tell him to shut up and expect him and the rest of us to listen to your bitching too. It's a two-way street.
  18. Well I'm sure the 3rd row will fold, but the 2nd's won't which is the real trick of Stow `n Go, since everyone's 3rd row folds.
  19. That's the one part I don't need actually. The headlight is intact, but the door, housing, turn signal lenses, and grill are fubared. It actually does run and drive very well, it was taken care of.
  20. Yeah it's pretty sad. Can't wait for the new Phoenix engines.
