  1. One way to help would be to redesign the damn logo. It looks like crap. the Chinese have nicer logos that they copied then tweaked for their cars.
  2. Steering wheel is modified.
  3. Or alternatively, he could look at the post I made earlier of it to save him the trouble of going to the site.
  4. That's a possible explanation, or maybe the Canada spec Journey (if it's being sold there) is different that way (even though it was tested in Nevada). What's baffling till is the steering wheel. the Dodge site shows one, but the rags show a different one for R/T models, although edmunds also has one with that wheel. There's also the color scheme issue. The color scheme is the same in all 3, but different pieces are colored on the dash...so is that an optional scheme or what a preproduction model/production model looks like verses the other? It's a mystery!
  5. It's snowing so..no not yet. Nothing will happen before the weather improves. Especially since we're not in need of it right now. For now I just start it up and keep it protected.
  6. The Challenger's interior bares resemblance to the Omni more because it's a boxier design. However it is still smoother and more rounded than the Omni's The gauge cluster is wider and had 4 gauges and the shield is rounded off, the middle vents are differently positioned, and the interior as a whole is chunkier and more substantial. Still, if you had to pick which looks more like the Omni's the Challeger's is the one o doubt. The Camaro's interior has a 2 guage cluster with individual pods, a more swoopy dash and a swoopy center stack that bulges out. The only similarities is the boxy guage shield (but as I said, theres 2 of them) and teh fact that it has a center stack/console. It may be bug but teh LX cars do perform quit well. They may not handle with the same agility of a smaller car (duh) but they are certainly sporty.
  7. Remember to those how are crying rebadge, they are to rebadges if the sheetmetal is unique. It's platform engineering not badge engineering. Other companies use common platforms for a multitude of vehicles. The only one with a real problem is the Outlook. Sure it looks different but it's priced similarly and is already the slowest selling of the group. Still, when you think about it, Saturns aren;t normally sold with Chevies or Buicks, so it gives the dealers something to sell that has teh same mission but looks like a Saturn.
  8. Thing is, the top has manual climate controls too. And why would it have the Nav system in two separate places?
  9. A bit confusing, check this out: So what's what? Which is the actual production interiors?
  10. Much better, go punch the guy who design it in the nuts and take over.
  11. Why is it that DI pumps up the CTS' hp by so much compared to what it does in the Traverse?
  12. It's an optical illusion. It will spin one way for a while and if you look at it long enough it will appear to change direction.
  13. Erm...that's a Shadow's interior. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. The new shifter area looks a lot less cheap now...that's the biggest change I see. I've always liked the interior of this car, and Acura's interiors in general. But the exterior changes make it go from bad to worse. Sure the mechanical enhancements are nice...if you completely ignore what the competition has to offer.
  15. I agree, it does a good job at not looking much like it's platform mates. Indeed, it looks more different than the Acadia/Outlook do. Really, the only thing they botched up was the rear end's tail lights. Fix that and it's a winner. Still, it's not the worst I've seen and not a deal breaker.
  16. I do find it funny they can get away with these huge panorama sunroofs and not a hardtop...structural rigidity must take a hit when you put one (or two) of those things in. I do have to take issue with a few things like Power accessories (after all, that's not exactly new, that `71 Caddy had it), those aren't lame IMO, neither is IRS (I mean it doesn't have to be on everything, but it certainly has advantages when it comes to handling and ride quality). Also I like a good sound system, nothing wrong with listening to your music through speakers that don't suck I like Navigations systems...better than having to pull over to bust out a road map There's nothing wrong with a little technology in your car Oh, and I happen to like the small decklid spoiler that was optional on Intrepids, even if they didn't do anything. And my 4-door may not be a hardtop but I my rear windows go down, they're not fixed
  17. Interesting, the Traverse gets a 2nd row console, the Acadia (unless it's optional) doesn't. They look about the same size inside to me. Where does it say the Traverse is longer than the other Lambdas?
  18. My an air conditioner, a dehumidifier, and an umbrella. problem solved.
  19. The nose is sharp and the interior is way nicer but the ass looks like an even fatter Odyssey...how is that possible?
  20. Well I see someone at Suzuki liked the Avenger Storm Trooper concept at SEMA...
  21. So why invest so much in fuel cells instead of ICEs? Is anyone else doing it besides BMW? Seems more simple since you can take an existing engine and modify it, rather than a ground up design. Both would be nice, I certainly doesn't want to loose ICEs.
  22. That grill is awful...so gaudy and out of proportion.
