  1. I got to check that thing out today, it is one awesome V6 beast....it's very quick. I too would like to know how he finds these amazing cars, but he always says you just gotta look around. The black is primer BTW...the car is extremely solid with almost, or none at all) rust on the body. It does have a modern stereo, so that counts...and GPS too! As for the B-59, not to spoil the "fun" for Sixty8 but since he's not on that much I'll give you guys the short version. The head gasket blew, probably from overheating, but what was worse is that the engine caught fire. Luckily he had a fire extinguisher to put out the fire, so the body is fine, but the engine's gone. Hope you don't mind me spilling the beans Sixty8
  2. Considering there haven't been any spyshots of the XLR undergoing testing, I'm guessing it's going to be a facelift. Hopefully a new interior is on the menu.
  3. It is NE so that's entirely possible. After all, WHDH's website has been advertising nothing but the TURD.
  4. I was debated whether or not to save for a Camaro or Challenger first, leaning towards Camaro...butI think now I'll save for a Challenger so I can buy one while the company still exists and isn't part of some $h!ty Asian company.
  5. Have you seen the front end of the "new" RL or this? Which has those nasty bulging headlights. The IS looks is a very good looking car, I like he way it looks better than the 3-Series. The interior is kinda meh though...lots of hard plastic.
  6. I always wanted to go visit the Ice Hotel...it's an amazing piece of architecture/sculpture that changes every year. The Ice Aero X is awesome.
  7. Dude, did you drive by South Campus yesterday? If so I think I saw it on my way out of class. Looks sweet, congrats.
  8. Just like the local news didn't mention Honda's recall for Civic's wheels falling off...
  9. Last night the local news made a point to mention both GM and Ford. Funny, I don't remember them talking about the massive Toyota recalls in `06
  10. Yeah, I guess it was. XD
  11. The front overhang is smaller than the rear. I would say teh Vigor is the best example of FWD with RWD Proportions.
  12. Not quite, 2nd...but it will no doubt be the least expensive. VW Passat offers that combo. You mean the reputation for 6-speeds not shifting into all of their gears? Or maybe the cheaper interior? How about the slipping build quality? Maybe the sludging V6's of the previous generation? Yeah the Malibu so wishes it had that reputation.
  13. By an LH. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. I'd rather GM buy Jeep than a foreign company, especially some $h!ty Indian one. If they kill the Viper and sell Jeep there will be blood.
  15. You guys are forgetting the most powerful Corvette in the history of the car, and the rebirth of the Challenger...that's pretty big car debuts IMHO.
  16. I do have one annoying glitch in my car...the automatic door locks stopped working a couple months ago. You know when teh car reaches a certain speed and the doors lock? Stopped working. I'd like to fix it eventually.
  17. From what I hear from reviews, the CTS does handle almost as good as the BMW, it has a far more inviting interior than the Germans or the Japanese, It has an excellent powertrain (3.6 DI/6-speed auto), The CTS-V will have more power than the M5. The Malibu has the best ride/handling balance in the segment, it has a better interior than the Camry and everything else save the Accord. Its exterior looks subjectively better than the rest of the segment, it's quiet and refined, have better ergonomics than the Accord, and it has a 4-speed automatic that is one of the most durable transmissions on the planet, and it offers a 6-speed in place of the 4-speed, and one of only two cars in the entire segment to have a 4 cylinder/6-speed combo. These are actual facts pulled from the spec sheet and various auto rags...not opinions like what you're pulling out of you ass.
  18. It's a J-Body Although if it makes you feel better the speedo on my friend's `93 Corolla sometimes doesn't work.
  19. I agree, I think the Mazda6 looks better.
  20. Same reason Europe gets the better Focus: we suck and apparently we're so cheap our standards are very low...according to marketing (and there is some truth in it). Anyway, it looks alright, but certainly derivative. However, the wheels look undersized and that front overhang looks monstrous! It looks as big as a W-Body's. Just like the last one, it reminds me of a slightly edgier Mazda6...only this time with worse proportions.
  21. Saw this on yahoo news. I noticed they mentioned Ford recalling for fires, but failed to mention Nissan recalling Altimas for engine fires.
