  1. Where do the profits of the Fusion go at the end of the day, where do they go from the Sonata?
  2. How exciting. OOoo, look at me, I can lop the upper have of the rear off a normal H3, lengthen this newfound section a bit, and put a nice big panel cab between it and the rest of the truck. I mean c'mon, it took this long and that's the best they could come up with? Not even make it look a little different? Still kinda cool though, if it sells well maybe it'll get Jeep to finally bring us the Gladiator.
  3. So does it say if they are being returned or found mysteriously mangled at the bottom of a cliff?
  4. Buy a Jeep or a Subaru.
  5. I love Sixty8's radical thinking. This is what happened when we attempted to take the B59 to Tulsa. He wanted to change the water pump, put new tires on it, replace the rear suspension...all in 2 days while driving down there. The car would have none of of it though
  6. You'd have better luck getting through to a brick wall or teaching a dog quantum physics then reasoning with Reg siegen.
  7. But...GME is godly, everyone wants their cars and not crappy RWD cars with style and identity. Right? Right? Once more, I find it funny that this brand of GM has never seemed to turn out something Europeans rags claim as world class, yet they're now in charge of GMNA and they think they know what's best? Oh well, at least they've got the Camaro, so at least there's one product I'll buy from GM (and maybe a CTS)
  8. I'll wait until better pictures but so far I'm underwhelmed. It took them this long to stick a pickup bed on the back of a H3? Still, it's more of a truck than the Tundra
  9. It actually liked it, read the end of it. They're just saying it's expensive, but go on to say that you get lots of standard equipment and there's also the tax credit.
  10. She's fresh, like warm brownies or fudge, depending on your viewpoint.
  11. Are you sure? What if they brought that Mazda in your sig stateside?
  12. *Hands you a bag of something* Eat up! Hope you get better soon.
  13. Pssh, there's been an Isuzu Trooper running around with Acura badges around ere for a while now.
  14. Especially if it had Vtech stickers on it, which ad like 1,000 horsepower per sticker. Surely he couldn't handle that much power and lost control while doing like 230 mph.
  15. Oops. My bad. Shup up! I Iz Smrt! I swarez it!
  16. If only I made that kind of money annually.
  17. I don't know who created the classification, but GM's has at least talked about a Gen V system, I just don't know if they've implemented it in any concepts yet.
  18. It's not that people have a problem with different views (for the most part anyway), it's more like you make it seem that these Zeta cancellations are not happening because of CAFE, but more of your personal hate for Holden. You can't tell me by putting fuel efficient powertrains in Zeta it wouldn't meet CAFE. Then you speak of GME as all powerful and they decide what we get in the US to hell what anyone else thinks. You must know that enthusiasts are the backbone of a company. They are the ones that stick with them through good times and bad and defend them and help convince people to give them a shot. They are what keeps the hope up. If you alienate them and forget about them and their desires completely, you loose them, and thus the hope is gone and no one will be there to spread the word. Enzl makes an excellent point in that GME products, while good, have not been class leaders, and some have the,m have been poorly rated. The Vectra got some pretty bad reviews for it's lousy chassis tuning, especially in VXR form, where the Mondeo is a superior product. The Astra is missing simple things like cupholders and so on. So there's gonna me skepticism, not only because it seems enthusiasts are being ignored and denied some great products, but also that the products that are supposed to be at the forefront of GM's lineup have in the past, not been class leading. Anyway, back to the car. The interior looks very promising. The exterior I'm not sure about. With the camo on it looks kind of bland and has an Altima vibe to it. Still, it may look better with the camo off, so final judgment waists until then. The car looks teh same in the various spy shots, and I see not hatchback cutout...I think it's just the angle of the camera that's throwing things off.
  19. All I want is 1.) People to stop being ignorant and consider different brands equally, "not American is t3h suck", but it should go both ways (Japan is t3h suck). 2.) Our government actually take some responsibility and make trade fair. If Japan and China want to import stuff here by all means...but let us export our stuff freely to their countries as well. Otherwise f@#k off.
  20. My question is why are you so hell bent on trying to find others criticizing the design? If you don't like that's fine, but is it worth it to scour the internet for article that criticize the design? I, for one, happen o like it, with the exception of the center console. I don't like how the shifter seems just kinda plopped there with a ring around it. Feels like an after thought, and there could be more detailing around the cupholders. The dash is nice overall, and distinctive, it is, as many have pointed out, including the reviews you've posted, the materials that are being criticized not really the design. I can think of one review where it was liked and complimented, even on the materials. The C&D comparo between the Mustang, G6, and Sebring convertibles. Granted the bar is set pretty low there Anyway, I'm curious to see what they do with the interior. I'm hoping all the models getting makeovers inside get design tweaks not just better materials. And I'm hoping for integration.
  21. Do they differ from the Camaro Concept and CHallenger Concept that have been out already? Since we're talking modern classics, where's the Vette and the Viper?
  22. But if the NorthStar replacement is supposed to be more efficient, why cancel development? Or do they just plan to kill the NorthStar and keep the small black V8?
  23. In terms of limited production vehicles thw FCX is further along I believe because it uses Gen V Cells whereas the Equinox uses Gen IV Cells, thus giving better packaging efficiency and longer ranger. Both a huge advancements though.
  24. autoblog reports that the C7 program is on hold until 2009.
