  1. So the interior is average, at least the design is nice. Plu, it's what the car can do that really matters...not how much love-makin' can be done on the dash.
  2. You're an ignoramus who half the time pulls "facts" and "statistics" out of his ass without actually researching. The Baja looked like what it was, a plastic cladded, pudgy outback. The ST is an alternative, kind of like how the Ridgeline is expect unlike the Ridgeline, it doesn't look like ass. I wouldn't down teh V6 ST would get better mileage than a Tacoma, and naturally it'll handle better than and BOD truck...of course the Tacoma's chassis tuning is rubbish anyway. You should really go back to the hole in the ground from whence you came, until you have something meaningful to contribute.
  3. So have you seen the Av or pictures of it since the wreck? That sounded like it was really bad. Good thing you were in a safe vehicle that got 5-stars (and not4 like some other trucks )
  4. Get both
  5. Children, behave It wasn't a negative review, whether some believe it or not. AT the same time though it wasn't as positive as say, the Sequoia's review, or Land Cruiser and such. This is in light of the fact that neither SUV brings nothing new to the table whereas the Tahoe Hybrid does. That and, they should have tested the Tahoe Hybrid in the city more, where many of these things will spend much of their lives, and where all Hybrid systems work there best. Still, they didn't say it sucked, quite the opposite. The system was very seamless and impressive and packaged very well. It gives improved fuel economy (or more importantly, less fuel consumption, not saving money), while still being able to haul a family, their gear, and a boat. It's just really expensive (although they do mention it's basically fully loaded which explains some of the price and there's a tax rebate).
  6. Very immature and unprovoked comment.
  7. The G6 looks like a Japanese Pontiac with big overhangs and an underbite. Go from sedan to coupe to convertible and the proportions get worse and worse. The coupe is especially bad because the front and back don't look like they belong together. The Accord is much better looking with much better proportions. Plus they fixed everything I hate about the sedan, namely the disgusting budging head and tail lights.
  8. So you're insinuating that people who like this car, are redneck inbreds? That's not ignorance at all. This will not fail like the Baja because 1.) it has history, anyone with half a brain and any interest at all in classic cars will know this is the El Camino's spiritual successor. There's a cult following for these things and people will know doubt be itching to be able to buy a new one again. 2.) It looks far better than the Baja 3.) It's a more fuel efficient, nimble alternative to a small truck. 4.) Sales expectations are not that high, so it doesn't have a massive quota to meet annually.
  9. Somehow an RWD performance car that is't sold as a Chevy in the same market as the G8 is easier to get more excited about than a FWD average-at-best economy car that's sold across the street.
  10. I though so too but apparently you can get that powertrain with the VW Passat, although the VW completes in the more premium bracket of the midsize segment. Maybe in an alternate dimension where the G6 looked like, well, not crap, otherwise you're eyesight must be impaired. Well ok, it does look better than the Altima Coupe...maybe...
  11. Yes because it makes perfect sense to not sell a product people actually want.
  12. The Magnum was also classified as a truck, I believe because of the flat load floor.
  13. CUz it was already around with a Chevy badge on it.
  14. It'll happen if the company goes under because of poor sales of these newfound GME products that turn out to be nothing more than me-too cars. Unless of course there is diversity, with distinctive cars that aren't all driven by the front wheels and 4-bangers, give those who want something different the ability to choose without having to go to Cadillac, which they may not be able to afford, or go to Chrysler or Ford, the former offering RWD and the latter planning to build RWD. Oh and undai will be happy to sell you a RWD sedan or coupe too.
  15. The Avenger is t3h suck. I hope the new interior upgrades are drastic, and they do something about the suspension and powertrain. Fusion sucked too, but it's being upgraded too. Go Malibu! It kicked the Camry's ass once again. You really can't go wrong with the top 3, but if I had coupe or sedan to choose from I might pick the Accord Coupe (exterior is excellent, love the interior), although if I were picking sedans solely the Malibu with win it for me. GM needs to continue advertising that the Camry should beware.
  16. The Epica is a midsize car like the Malibu...what does the Cobalt have to do with the Epica?
  17. GIVES MEH!
  18. Very sorry to hear about the accident, at least you're dogs weren't with you, you don't have life ethreatening injuries and your son is there to take care of you. Here's to a full and quick recovery.
  19. Our friends over at Pickuptruck.com have learned that Pontiac will debut a production-ready ST pickup at this year's New York Auto Show in late March. The Pontiac ST pickup is based on the Holden VE Ute that recently debuted in Australia, and since development of the vehicle consists mainly of grafting the Pontiac G8 front clip onto the Holden VE Ute, the business case for the vehicle is a no-brainer. What did stand between the Pontiac ST pickup and production was the U.S. exchange rate between the Australian and U.S. dollar, but apparently the difference isn't as bad as once thought and the price of the ST won't be out of reach for its target market. Pickuptruck.com also learned that, despite previous reports to the contrary, the Pontiac ST will be offered with a 256-HP V6, as well as a 361-HP V8. The reason is because plans for a Pontiac G8 Sportwagon that would have been powered by a V6 have been cancelled, so the Pontiac needs to offer both a V6 and a V8 for the ST pickup to balance out the effect it has on GM's CAFE rating. Don't all these unibody pickups in GM's product plans get you thinking? If we were to consult some tea leaves, we might draw the conclusion that GM is considering transforming its small pickups into an all-unibody lineup. It's pure speculation on our part, but to debut two unibody trucks in one auto show season makes us go hmmm...
  20. I'd drag race it with the Shadow :3
  21. It all worked out in the end, and we saved an assload of money on gas too
