  1. Aww, I think deftone is jealous...
  2. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. The SRX is not dying off just yet.
  3. http://www.leftlanenews.com/cadillac-mulls...-crossover.html
  4. I just got a new PS2 around the time the PS3s first came out.
  5. Corrections:2. For any car. 7. I'm pretty sure they are. 8. The new CTS looks absolutely amazing inside and out on the road (seen three already!).
  6. The face is very handsome, and the rear is okay. Everything in between looks dumb, kind of jelly bean like.
  7. Just for comparison’s sake… Old Challenger: New Challenger: Old Mustang: New Mustang: Old Camaro: New Camaro: If you ask me… (in all honesty and in terms of design) Changed the most? Camaro Changed the least? Challenger Best old design? Camaro Worst old design? Mustang Best new design? Camaro Worst new design? Mustang Like most? Camaro Like least? Challenger Opinions?
  8. Sixty8, let's analyze that comparison: Front: The grille on the new Challenger is cheaper looking with the cross hairs, but they're necessary to keep it branded with the current Dodge grille theme. The headlights are similar, just updated to today's standards. Fog light placement is the same. The lower fascia is dropped a bit more than the original, but it looks even lower since there isn't a chrome bar under the grille/headlights. The new Challenger's lower opening is larger too, and lower as mentioned. Side: The windows lack the chrome trim of the older Challenger. The body is nearly identical, though I'd say the body on the new one is less muscular. Body line is the same. Contour of the greenhouse and windows are approximately the same. Looks like the same size wheel openings, but bigger wheels (it's 2007). Even the size and placement of the side reflectors are the same. Rear: I'd be willing to say that even the designers on the new Challenger got bored with their design and made a really terrible rear end compared to the original. The original was very muscular and the new one is very plain and easy to Photoshop. The reverse light placement is terrible and the taillight panel is very plain Jane. The rear isn't really a carbon copy at all compared to the front and side, but it definitely lacks the spirit and enthusiasm that a true muscle car demands. Overall, this thing better be ballsy in power and refinement because its design isn't what I expect out of a new Challenger. What is it challenging? The 1970's design was a hell of a lot better. I'm honestly unsure of why someone would buy one of these over a Mustang GT, GT500, or Camaro unless Dodge really impresses us with something we definitely don't expect. However, being that it's Dodge, a company I've lost nearly all my respect for, I don't see them coming out with anything better for the Challenger than Ford or Chevy has/will with the Mustang and Camaro.
  9. Kids are great. I typically love being around them because they can definitely brighten your day, but they can also be a complete terror...
  10. Wonder if it'll be quieter than a Buick..
  11. Ahh, I saw two CTS's on the road yesterday. One in a darker red and one in black. I just about creamed my pants both times.
  12. I agree 110% If Dodge is copying the "soul" they had from 35 years ago, what is that saying about their designers now? That they can't design for $h!. Time for a new panel of creative thinkers, eh?I don't see why people think this car is amazing. I think of Dodge and I can't get past the plastic interior and crap engineering that my parents faced with their last three Dodge vehicles. I mean, all vehicles differ and we'll have to see this Challenger on a lot to actually check it out, but I'm jumping the ball and saying it's going to lack refinement and have terrible gas mileage. Now, I know it's got 425+ HP and all that hooplah, but if it can't get 25 MPG highway, what's that saying? And I just can't get past the point that it looks 35 years old and it hasn't even hit showrooms yet. [/rant]
  13. Or displeasure. I'm only seeing one picture..
  14. I'm not a huge fan of the Mustang, but for Ford's sake I wish they'd update the damn suspension and, like you said, give it the 3.5L V6 instead of the V6 they have in it right now. I agree with Northie in saying that if GM dumbs down the Camaro to match the Mustang like this, they'll have some upset customers. Then again, look at the '08 Malibu versus the competition and you can see that for the same price, it looks like you get a lot more refinement with the Malibu. We'll have to check out that comparison more once the time comes though.
  15. x2.Mustang GT
  16. I thought they canceled this POS...?
  17. Orange in the day: Red just past dusk:
  18. The main reason I did it was to show you something you might like... I know your passion for El Caminos.
  19. Good entries, everybody. I had a sweet Volt-based Camino but when I went to re-open and upload it, Photoshop said it couldn't recognize the file for some reason and I didn't really have the time or patience to redo it... Blah.
  20. Well I hope it doesn't look funny with 22" front wheels and 20" rear wheels (if you didn't mix up the numbers)...
  21. I have also heard the first and third thing listed above. On the second thing, do you mean an electronic limited slip?
  22. You mean other than the 2008's optional full-leather interior?
  23. Well the last few days of my life I was up in Traverse City, Interlochen State Park, and the Sleeping Bear Dunes (all in Northern Michigan). Beautiful area and lots of nature to see. On the way back, I met up with a Mach 1 going down I75. I had my trunk completely packed with four people in the car and still beat the Mach 1 from about 70-120 with about a car's length between us. I thought it was pretty damn sweet, especially since my buddy had been admiring the Mach 1 since we saw it at a rest area a few miles back.
  24. Become faithful in something beyond life here on earth. I hit this point about 6-9 months ago with having something terrible on my mind and couldn't sleep at night and would feel like $h! all through the day. That's when I started praying to a higher being. I still pray now and haven't felt any of the pain I felt back then. Good luck to you, bud..
  25. This car is going to be so much more than anybody was ever anticipating. I can't wait to drive one...
