    Sad News

    Nice try. :AH-HA_wink:
  2. I'm sorry, but you're complaining that you can hear your engine?
  3. Thanks, all. I've been thinking about those projectors, but we'll see where they fall into my budget...
  4. haha Listen to this guy...
  5. Well, I've literally only driven around the neighborhood for maybe two minutes tops, so I can't really say. They're brand new and obviously need a little wear and tear for me to feel them to their fullest. The tires on the other hand grip a billion times better than the Pirelli P Zero Rossos that were on there stock. Also, I've cut over four pounds out of each corner with this new setup.
  6. I may get flamed for this haha but I'm planning on getting a carbon hood and carbon center-piece for the wing. I may be able to get them both in the summer, we'll see where my head is at the time. I'm an instinct buyer, so if I really feel like getting them on some random day, I'll buy them both. I also plan on painting the gold part of the Chevy bowties gloss black sometime this summer too...
  7. Orgy at Dodgefan's tonight! Happy Birthday, bud!

  10. Well, Tuesday and Wednesday I worked on my car from the time I woke up and took a shower until I went to bed both days, easily putting in over 25 hours of work on the Cobalt between the two days. Tuesday I cleaned and painted the calipers, and put a "Cobalt" vinyl on the front calipers. Wednesday I finished all of my brakes, adding GM Performance drilled and slotted rotors on all four corners along with a set of "new" rims (18" ALT Sonix - black with polished inside lip) and tires (G-Force KDWs - 235/40ZR18). I proceded by removing the GM badges next to the front wheels, along with the Cobalt SS and Supercharged badges on the rear. Then I took the rest of my night (uhh, until 3 AM) to wash, clay, polish, wax, and buff her until she was absolutely completely spotless. Here is the outcome: Front Caliper/Rotor: Rear Caliper/Rotor: Rims: Random Pics: Proof that Rally Yellow can shine really effin' good:
  11. Oooglay... But so is the X3/X5 IMO.
  12. No more interior woes for the SRX is something that probably put it up there on the list (without reading the article). The interior is worlds above and beyond the '06 interior.
  13. Happy Birthday, bud.
  14. Hmm, you can always get a $h! ton of cats...
  15. With me?! haha Just kidding, bud.
  16. Camino, with an orange/pearl white paint scheme, I would definitely go with a really light, maybe even white, wood bed.
  17. Oh snap. Sorry, but they definitely picked the wrong car to do this on...
  18. :rotflmao: That's just too damn good..
  19. I thought somebody already bought Proton..
  20. When does the 2008 Cobalt show up? It should be in showrooms within a few months (July-ish), shouldn't it?
  21. At 1000 RPM, your engine is REVOLVING at 16.67 times per second. At 3000 RPM, we're looking at three times that, or 50 times per second. At 7000 RPM, we're speaking of 116.67 times per second. And those high-revving 12,000 RPM engines hit a completely outrageous 200 revolutions per second! Am I effing insane? Are these numbers completely off? I'm going crazy looking at these numbers. How the hell is that possible?! If you take into account that these engines are four-stroke, does that mean they're actually doing four times more rotations than they are revolutions? Or less?
  22. Nahh, they're 3+ hours from the beach. It's a nice area (so it seems), pretty good weather, and the company I'm potentially going to co-op with has a building down there in Duncan.. As long as they hire me after my co-op is done, I don't see why I couldn't be transferred...
  23. First, thanks for opening up.Second, I'm hoping for a move to or near Duncan, SC once I graduate college...
