BMW News: 2018 BMW 6-Series GT is the Evolution of the 5-Series GT
Cmicasa the Great replied to William Maley's topic in BMW
Its not.. but someone will come in here and say that the quilt look in the seats makes it stand out. I call BS. The CT6 interior, specifically in Platinum is on par with the 7series hands down, let alone this new.. if U wanna call it that.. 6- 16 replies

BMW News: 2018 BMW 6-Series GT is the Evolution of the 5-Series GT

I agree. There is absolutely nothing I see to be excited about when I look at BMW design. Nothing. Their engines and handling are the only things I am enthusiastic about.. and even those, imo, are behind that of my favorite lux make.- 16 replies

Buick News: 2018 Buick Enclave To Begin Just Under $41,000
Cmicasa the Great replied to William Maley's topic in Buick
GM and Ford are building products, in particular GM with Cadillac, Buick and GMC.. Ford with Lincoln.. that are just as well built, and possibly better than you favs from Germany at about 80%-90% a discount to the consumer. On top of that your 1980 data of 44% is flawed... as in 1980 the sheer amount of makers selling in this country was quite smaller. Furthermore GM market share is currently closer to 17% YTD.. with 2 less brands than in 1980 and again.. several more manufacturers taking a bit out the pie. And out of curiosity.... what makes an Audi Q7 Premium+ worth the starting price of $53K ? -

A bit? Man I fuckin HATE German and Japanese products. Hate 'em. I can't stand their buyers either,. and have made it a point of letting it be known since I started posting on the Internet some 15 years ago. Ask anyone who knows me out there and they will tell U as well. I'm a fanatic about this. And would have no problem if every God damn one of the companies of Germany, Japan, Korea, India, Italy, and now China ceased to exist and all that was left were GM and Ford. Fuck em. As for their buyers... meh -

Because a vast majority of RESPECTABLE Americans and Chinese don't go around lookin for Germans asses to lick between and suck on like U do. They also prefer going out to their vehicles and pushing the button and having them actually WORK 99% of the time.. and not get their pockets drained to do it. Be honest.. U and Hitler would have made great cell mates after WWII wouldn't U have -
Honda News: 2018 Honda Accord Drops the Six
Cmicasa the Great replied to William Maley's topic in Honda
Long way? In what way? If u look at the TOP... at the TOP of the actual luxury game Cadillac is currently equal with both Lexus, Audi and Jag.. and only a car away from BMW. The BMW thing is TODAY. ONce the 6 Series is dead completely, and until the 8Series actually lives.. Cadillac will be on pretty much equal footing. Benz currently has a leg up because of the upper S-Classes, Pullman, and GTs, but that could be remedied by a rebodied Vette.. which in many ways, when bringing the Z06 and upcoming ZR1 into the mix.. as luxury as any sports coupe Benz has. Fuck Benz.. and I hope they and their buyers drive off off a cliff- 102 replies

As I said in the Cadillac XT5 thread.. I see zero reason for a V6 in some cars when turbo 4s are kicking out as much power while avoiding any additional taxation of displacement. Hell V8s that I love have 8 to 4 cylinder displacement.. and in actuality the fuel economy of the V6s.- 102 replies

Cadillac Global Sales up 32% and 136,525 YTD
Cmicasa the Great replied to Cmicasa the Great's topic in Reviews
I would like to say that in reality.. at this rate of growth.. and still missing 2 new CUVs that will be intro'ed soon.. not to mention a revitalization of some existing vehicles.. plus a few more added.. That 500K by 2020 JDN spoke of last year seems quite obtainable -
http://media.cadillac.com/media/us/en/cadillac/news.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2017/jun/0605-cadillac-sales.html At this rate.. its very likely Cadillac could pass the 320K mark by end of year

My Review of the 2017 Cadillac XT5 Luxury
Cmicasa the Great replied to Cmicasa the Great's topic in Reviews
Yeah.. I see a lot of Black women in this and the SRX.. Sidebar.. I never use the "African-American" compound because it suggests that Black Americans are new to this country when they have been here as long as Anglo-Americans and Spani-Americans.. altho against their will initially. No one calls JFK and Irish-American.. they just call him AMERICAN. Blacks were here way before the Irish started shipping over LMFAO -
My Review of the 2017 Cadillac XT5 Luxury
Cmicasa the Great replied to Cmicasa the Great's topic in Reviews
Dealer tells me that they have confirmed that not only is the XT4 coming and will be shown soon.. but they are ready to push out a car based larger 3 row CUV (no word on platform) similar in size to the new Traverse/Enclave Game -
Yesterday morning I had to take my 2016 CTS-V in for a recall, oil change, tire balance.. and because it was gonna take more than an hour, and I needed to get to my clients.. I was provided a loaner car from the dealer. Of course I asked for the CT6, but alas.. it was not available for loaning purposes. Interesting enough.. this dealer tells me that they don't even order the 2.0L RWD edition of that car, unless someone specifically asks for it and puts down a non-refundable deposit of 5%. It found it curious because the salesman I usually deal with tells me that out of every CT6 he has sold (his number was 23) everyone of them has been a Premium Lux or Platinum, with about a 50/50 split on the 3.6L and 3.0TT. Anyway.. So I was given the keys of an XT5 AWD Luxury model with 1456 on the odo.. barely broken-in. Of course the first thing the loaner admin did was tell me that she needed to instruct me on the new shifter. I let he kno that I had driven the vehicle before, but she insisted as it was a part of her protocol. That being said.. I still prefer the feel of a normal shifter. These E-Shifters feel more like video games than anything else. The system in the Lincoln's I've driven is even worse. Either way.. it had been a few months since I had driven an XT5 so it did take me a few tries to get used to it once I pulled off the lot. The biggest screw up I kept making was not hitting the button on the side to commence commands. I just kept neglecting it at first, but by the afternoon I was good to go. Drive: The vehicle is smooth on all roads I took it. Very civilized. The 3.6L has evolved into quite a nice engine.. as this one was, in my opinion, more refined than the one in my Impala. The only thing I still can't get with is Start-Stop. It can be disabled tho, but I left it on. Power is linear when U hit the gas.. and it actually pulls quite nice, as I had no trouble merging or maneuvering thru-out the day. This vehicle is also quite nimble.. and I still would love to see Cadillac issue a V-Sport model with the 3.0TT or even LF3. Impressions: My first impression of this vehicle is "Woman's Car." This was confirmed as every woman I saw yesterday seemed smitten with the XT5. I got no less than 6 different strangers asking me how I liked it.. every one of them were XX chromosomes.. My girlfriend saw it after I shot her a text pic of it, and instantly sent back the "heart eyes" emoticon asking if this was her Birthday Gift. The interior is very plush.. like Lexus soft in terms of the leather. Room is very nice.. with rear seats that do move aft and for.. I did have trouble finding the auxiliary plug (cigarette lighter plu) for my radar, but a quick "OK Google" search told me that it was under the center pass-thru cubby on the right hand side. The Ultra-View Sunroof is the only way to go.. and it pretty much covers the entire roof. The CUE system that everyone gives flack in reviews was a non-issue as it worked without flaw in pairing, Android Auto, audio functions, and Navigation. In this XT5 the climate control buttons are actually buttons.. which I was disappointed in because I don't wear FUCKIN GLOVES @Drew Dowdell when I drive and prefer the all sensory system. Yes.. went to the outside bar by my office after 2017 XT5 AWD LUXURY Base Price of Luxury (FWD) model: $45,295 Price as tested: $52,405

Review: 2017 Cadillac CT6 Platinum 3.0TT
Cmicasa the Great replied to William Maley's topic in Reviews
This... Toyota trucks and SUVs are known to have bodies and frames that rust right out from under and around the engine. Props to the engine lasting for 250K+, but if the rest of the car is crumbling away what the hell are U driving? My dad has a 1990 Chevy truck that has never been redone in any way (including the damn paint that is primer colored at this point) and well over 500K.. still running... Like a champ. -

Cmicasa the Great replied to William Maley's topic in Reviews
Its wild because the majority of the cars I see on the road over 20 years old are American. It might be a bad thing cause perception wise some of them looked rugged... even though they are all running. Saw a what had to be a 95 Buick Lesabre the other day.. The front bumper was held on by duct tape... And Lord knows I see old Cavaliers and S10 Blazers on the regular -

On a side here is the Acadia.. and here is what I'm currently driving after taking my V in for an Oil Change, tire balance.. and a recall for a fuse box sticker being incorrect... a new XT5 AWD. Thing has some giddy-up if U step.. seems loaded up pretty nice, with pano-sunroof. Still not a fan of Stop-Start... this is cool cause U can disable -

Taking any opportunity to call U out and insult U even tho I read your whole post and realize that U were joking about the Camry engine.. U are a FUCKIN Retard.. I owned a Camry back in the day and that son of a bitch, later a part of a massive recall for engine sludge, is part of the reason why I came back to American cars and have never looked back. The engine locked at 11K No.. Altho he and his wife bought the Acadia.. a brand new untried redo.. his wife has several time asked me if she could take my Impala (and even my V.. which she'd have to do some serious stuff to do.. she's pushing 50 but still looks good) for a test.. each time coming back from the grocery store, me frantically awaiting.. with a smile on her face. Every time commenting on how much smoother, more refined, obviously more spacious, and better looking my CHEVY is than her luxury Toyota ES350. They needed an SUV. They kept the Camr... I mean ES350 because the trade in value was not what they wanted. The repair for its issues will probably run about $2900 as the head gasket need replacement as per their dealer, and another $1300 for new tires. The car does have 106K on the odo -

No doubt... my Lexus loving neighbor broke down last week.. literally in their '08 ES350. Saturday night I look outside and see them pull up in a brand new GMC Acadia. They have been asking me about my Yukon for a while.. and I thought they might go for the big Acadia.. nope. The NEW NEW Acadia is in their driveway -

Review: 2017 Cadillac CT6 Platinum 3.0TT
Cmicasa the Great replied to William Maley's topic in Reviews
OK.. Agreed except the XT5 3.6L. I truly believe the better torque in the 2.0L.. with a lil more HP would be a better fit.. and then the 3.0TT upgrade. GM really needs to utilize the 3.0TT and 3.6TT more. As it stands.. they are wasting them. I also stand by my belief that the next ATS-V(CT3) should have an optional LT V8 even if its similar HP as the LF4. -

Even if U have a GLA competitor.. it doesn't have to be as cheap looking.. as BITCH ASS looking as a the GLA. Seriously mo.. I see the GLA and I started feeling like a need to go hold a teddy bear. Its a bitch car.. and I mean like "frumpy wearing tennis shoes with a flowered dress bitch car." That being said.. I could see U chiming in and saying U just bought one for yourself -

No.. I have consistently said that Cadillac really should move to Turbo engines only except in the Vs. They actually have the materials already. Yes there is no real need for the 2.0L Turbo on that level.. IF they would just get rid of the 3.6L and offer a detuned 3.0L instead. I'm talking because of torque. I don't kno what they are capable of regarding that detune allowing for 87 instead of 91-94 tho. The 3.6L is a decent engine.. but size matters in certain markets. Cadillac wants to be global.. they need to drop that engine and make the 3.0L their main while the supposed upcoming V8 mainstream should still not go over 5.0
