  1. Sad when Buick China has the logo with more American heratige than the American website.
  2. That is one hot SAAB. I'd love to have one if not for the price. The wheels are very unique looking, I guess the whole car can be called unique when its in a sea of BMWs and Infinitis.
  3. Honestly, I say its time for Pontiac to move away from the 90's twin port holed look. Heck, they could slap on a red arrow on that torana and it would still look good to me. Or they could keep the two port theme, but redesign the holes into something more modern and sleeker looking. Give Pontiac a fresh face instead of something that harkens back to a mid 90's Grand Am. The G8 looks nice, but at the same time they could've went with a totally new look for Pontiac and surprised everybody. Maybe someday Pontiac will reinvent itself and people will take notice.
  4. mmm that looks comfy. Drive Beautiful indeed.
  5. Sadly that's all true. But if there's a future without the unit, I'm all for it. I don't really hate the thing either, I'm just like most people who hate seeing it in every GM price range.Oh and +1 for the poster above who said Pontiac should change their red lighting, kinda taxing on the eyes after awhile. It also turns certain people off from even considering a Pontiac, such as my father.
  6. Now that's the stuff I want to see out of GM. That Cadillac cluster is very futuristic looking, happy to have GM show off its design muscles. The truck center consoles are nice looking, but they should honestly be here sooner rather than later. The competition already has similar concepts being produced already or soon to be released. At least the bow-tie units don't look like cheap crap if they are surrounded by a nice interior, ie: Tahoe. I'm just glad the CTS isn't saddled with that unit.
  7. Agreed. Although I could see El Camino boosting up Chevy's identity with a unique car, the Caballero nameplate definitely sounds like it would fit a more upscale price point that it'll probably command.
  8. Too bad they aren't turning the Pontiac lineup inside out with fresh products like Saturn. That would make more people sit up and listen, but at least the G8 is coming.
  9. That grille is worrying me. I hope it isn't MDX-ified. The current TL is simple and pleasing to the eye, let's hope Honda doesn't over complicate it with this next gen version.
  10. If only we knew They used to have bland, but handsome exteriors. Now it's just...weird and ugly and its always either the front or the back, but not both for most people. Ya know, the more I look at the new Accord interior, the more I like it. Damn, that always happens to me. At least they didn't ruin the inside and trumped the Camry(not that hard of a task).
  11. Just a note here, all of my cousins wouldn't even think of buying a domestic, but one thing they do give is that if they had to, they would buy a Pontiac for its styling. They think Saturns are ugly, and Chevys look cheap and bland. Sometimes, a brand has more potential than one thinks it does...
  12. The front is looking good but I guess all the good talent was sent on to different tasks and the rear was left to the design interns. The interior is a step down from the current gen, which is damn near perfect in my eyes.
  13. I don't get why everyone knocks the Vibe. I've had 2 friends with a Matrix and a Vibe and they've been good cars to them. We're actually considering buying a Vibe, it looks less ridiculous than the Matrix and is a good inexpensive cargo hauler with good MPG. I'm just disappointed that the interior looks so similar to the current one, I was hoping for something a little different, but the audio unit looks a lot better.
  14. My thoughts exactly. Forget the powertrain, give me BTB 5yr/100k and you'll really stand out GM. Or if you want to go the distance, BTB 7yr/100k.
  15. YES. In the words of Jack Bauer, "Get me that car, NOW!"
  16. Yeah...that confirmed nothing. Just speculation there.
  17. If only I had the money for this car, I'd make mine Thunder Gray Chromaflair.
  18. Damn that car is oozing with appeal. I'm glad its getting favorable reviews. I have to say, even though I am an avid Edmunds reader, that once sentence mentioned by RJB slightly irked me also. But it is just one person's opinion, and I know from different editor there loves the new CTS. *shrug* can't win 'em all. My favorite feature of the car besides the styling of it, is probably the navi screen that pops up, it's too cool.
  19. I knew the results before I clicked on it before hand. Not because of it being on Edmunds, which I visit every day for industry news, but because when you put HYBRID on a car it better damn well get good gas mileage. GM can't just say theirs is merely a mild hybrid and shrug their shoulders when someone puts the Aura's numbers up next to the Camry's. Customers won't care if it's a mild hybrid, they just know that the Toyota hybrid gets better MPG than the Saturn hybrid. Most people who want a hybrid are already shopping Toyota as their first stop anyways and if Saturn can't impress customers right off the bat, then the customers won't bat an eyelash towards their dealership. I hope the next gen Aura is up to par with the next gen offerings of competitors, including their hybrids/diesels or whatever comes along.
  20. The TSX is a nice overall package. If it has one stand out ability, it's the handling. The interiors of both the TL and TSX have held up well over the years, I do agree that the TSX could use a bit more power though for the money. However, after visiting the local Chevy dealer Saturday to look at the Cobalt, I can't see how you're comparing the two interiors as the same level. The Cobalt's interior while decently designed, looks and feels cheap. Every car is going to have plastic in it and whether or not you want to be more objective or less, you'll find the "hard-plastic" if you're really set out on looking for it. The TSX's interior is definitely much more upscale than the Cobalt's as it should be, but really most people wouldn't put a Cobalt and TSX side-by-side and say "eh...they're kinda the same."
  21. Well my initial reaction is the grille isn't so bad. Definitely prefer the black over the regular chrome grille. The lower bumper I'm still thinking about...hm.
  22. Well damn here I am saying the how I hope the Accord diesel gets GM into gear and it looks like they already were. A good surprise indeed.
  23. Just noticed this thread right now. Damn it that challenger is going to be cool. However Bumble Bee burns all who try to keep up
