  1. The hood scoop needs to be toned down but this truck is hot.
  2. Main suggestion was the G6 convertible. Other suggestions were the 9-3 Convertible, XLR, SKY, SSR and Envoy. I guess I'm a convertible kind of person but that never occured to me before.
  3. Would love to see the football leather.
  4. Again, I love those wheels.
  5. It is sweet. The Sierra is a great truck.
  6. Those wheels looks very classy. I'm not sold on the tonneau cover, though.
  7. Tacky.
  8. I thought the Highlander was produced in North America. I think Toyota is planning to release a sub-Rav4 and RX and will need the capacity.
  9. Is it good that the new C reminds me of the new Sebring?
  10. Yeah but the bored suburban white kids won't steal what's inside. It looks pretty good with the top down. It actually surprised me considering I am not a huge fan of the sedan or coupe. I think this looks the best of the three with the top down. With the top up it looks the worst. I'm with OC on the hardtop convertible. The rear end just looks weird with the top up and this is on all hardtop convertibles. Surprisingly, the G6 hides this problem the best, IMO.
  11. The new Suburban rubs me the wrong way, which is weird because I love the Tahoe. My mom saw one on the street a few weeks ago and said it looked horrible, especially in comparison to the last-gen. I mentioned that it was virtually the lengthened version of the new Tahoe she likes but that didn't satisfy her. After closer examining, I don't believe the Suburban wears the Tahoe's sheetmetal as well as it has in the past. Granted, it's a hell of a lot better than the last-gen but if I had to pick between the two I'd take the Tahoe and not just because it's smaller, etc.
  12. The picture is of the next-gen CTS interior.
  13. Much, much, much improved. I guess the designers who did work on the older SRX were fired.
  14. Besides the engine and possibly the standard features/pricing, the G does nothing for me. The floating headlights and hood cutline are horrible, IMO, and the rear is plain. The interior does not look like it comes on entry-lux car. The metal does look fake along with the wood, which was not pictured. The M, on the other hand, is hot all around. The 3 does little for me, either. Overhyped and too pricey considering what else is offered in the segment. I'd rather have an IS, A4, TL or next-gen CTS.
  15. It's too mechanical for me, too cold. Even the tan interior does not exude warmth and it is barely changed from the previous-gen. This is "new?" Must be a joke.
  16. I wonder how many English-speaking Silverado owners are looking to replace their trucks and were, dare I saw, a little miffed at this ad.
  17. I'd rather have one, two or even three nice faceplates than 6 crappy faceplates.
  18. The seats are like sex. I can't get over them.
  19. IIHS and US government tests are different and the results are often contradictory. The IIHS frontal is offset like the photos that were posted are offset. Apparently, it is a more difficult test than ramming the car straight into a wall like the government does.
  20. The exterior is nothing special (did GM change the rear window for the MCE?) but that interior...talk about yum. The leather looks high-quality and the diamond pattern is stunning and should be standard on every SRX. The new dash is great as well. Hire this woman!
  21. Too bad this doesn't happen on the SRX.
  22. I'd still purchase any of the LX cars if I had the cash and was in the market. I think the problem is a lack of advertising. I haven't seen anything besides print ads in MT and the occasional billboard.
  23. You're talking about the 60's and 70's, two of the worst decades in American history, IMO. That's when all respect, sanity, common sense, morals and values went out the window. Now, the majority has to respect the minority but not vice versa, little sanity exists, common sense is completely gone, and morals and values are made fun of. I believe the biggest problem is how the "enlightened" have forced society to accept anything and everything through lawsuits, laws and protests. People no longer have to face consequences for their actions at home, work or school. People are afraid to voice their feelings and opinions because of the risk of "offending" someone. I'm offended every damn day but you don't see me bitching about it, suing people, demanding monuments be taken down, beating people up, etc. People have to grow up, gets some balls and a spine, and start taking responsibility for their own actions. Don't blame video games or movies, music or tv shows, gangs, drugs, alcohol, your childhood, etc. Blame yourself, live and learn. For me, I know what my values are. I have my opinions. For the most part, I will not compromise or change them and if gets me fired, demoted, sued or attacked I could care less.
  24. Someone's quite popular. Happy 30th!
