    In Retrospect

Awesome advertisement. Too bad GM seems to be unable or unwilling to do something along those lines today.
  3. Good pricing. Side airbags are standard, too, a feature missing on other cars in its class. The only problem is the late availability automatic transmission. If people do not want a manual they have to get the top-of-the-line CVT version.
  4. If spyshots are anything, I have a feeling the Avenger will be much better.
  5. Plug-in hybrids? Gasp! The horror!
  6. I'd take a normal sunroof.
  7. It may be extremely expensive but it does not really look like it. The low gloss is great, it's something all automakers should do or at least offer, but something just does not look right to me. I don't like the hood cutline on the Infiniti or Porche. Black hides it but every other color, I'm guessing, will show it off. Different, yes, but it sticks out like a sore thumb to me.
  8. That looks better but there is still the droopy front to deal with. I like the chrome and wood accents in the interior.
  9. Now, now, children.
  10. I thought they would have been all over it. Even so, it's now more than 24 hours since the thread was started. I do like Caddy's outlook, though.
  11. I'll take your word for it but it looks like silver painted plastic to me. That wood looks very cheap, too. It reminds me of fake DCX wood! Did Nissan and DCX partner up somewhere along the line? At least it does not have tons of gloss on it. The exterior is nice but the hood cut line will stand out on every other color and, IMO, will look ugly.
  12. It does look more bland without the strakes but the absence of the rub strip is welcome. Nice job.
  13. Meaning where is FOG et al to complain about such a travesty.
  14. AKA abortions. They love killing kids, huh? I could hear them saying..."The age of consent should be 12 since that would provide us with possibly two more years of, um, you know, providing birth control options." Ann Coulter pointed this out recently: libs whine over 2,500 war deaths but celebrate killing millions of babies and access to abortion on demand.
  15. I cannot see the photos of the wood interior. I was talking about the silver in the second interior picture that was posted.
  16. I get an error message on the photos in the first post. The interior looks a lot better than the current-gen but the painted plastic center stack/console give me a cheap DCX vibe. Some of the components are not aligned as well as they should be on a luxury car, either.
  17. Half and half. The front is soft like the last-gen Malibu and it looks too much like that Daewoo. The ribbed hood is horrible but I'll give it to DCX for trying something different. The sides look like a ripped off last-gen Benz. The rear is alright but I get an Avalon and WRX vibe. It seems like both ends were designed separately from each other. The interior, on the other hand, looks awesome. Based on other DCX interiors, though, I'll say the materials are not up-to-par. Edit: spelling and the interior is definately better than the Aura design-wise.
  18. Sound of crickets from some members...
  19. My parents were fine with me but they do not have as much control over my sister as they should.
  20. Skipping school and speeding (like everyone else). I am the purest 19-year old on the planet.
  21. Priced perfectly. I have not looked at Pontiac sales recently but is the Solstice having the "300 effect?"
  22. Aren't the Lambdas significantly larger than the GMT360s? I was under the assumption the Lambdas are the unibody counterparts to the GMT900 SUVs. If that is the case, I still see a market for a smaller, cheaper SUV that is better than the 'Nox/Torrent.
