  1. Yeah even one engine the LNF DI 2.0 turbo with varied power - one with about 220-230 hp and one with 260-280 hp would be awesome. Couple that with a 6-speed manual and auto tranny.
  2. I think tt is the other way around. UAW CANNOT strike under the bailout agreement.
  3. Sigma squared Delta squared
  4. Come on Camino, I know you want that Yellow thing very passionately. That Tata truck would be the right way to stick it into GM and American Auto Industry.
  5. Take that S out it is meaningless or replace with the other S.
  6. Compare to the original concept previewed in New York 2007. The Beat
  7. And if you still want a truck-styled vehicle
  8. My understanding is that there will be three. 9-5 if GM does not get rid of SAAB. Chances are they might not.
  9. Now here is where things will get fascinating. If Delta II is a go for Buick, then Buick will have three Cars and one SUV. Where does that leave Pontiac? I mean if GM wants product differentiation then having a Delta II G5 and Epsilon II G6 under the same roof will be not a great idea. Also, that puts doubt on Insignia coming as an Aura and as ZL-1 stated even Astra going over to Buick. Which means Pontiac will have to be way differentiated to have RWDs or vehicles which may be "niche" - or be canned. If GMC gets Terrain, then Buick will not get a T-E which is a certainty. Furthermore, if PCS holds true then Buick will also have the Alpha, which means Pontiac may be rotted to dust. This news however a great one will leave more questions than answer any.
  10. This with RWD/AWD will make a nice replacement for the abomination called Dakota.
  11. Looking at the thread title I thought you and Jessi were having a baby and wanted help in the naming department.
  12. I am more inclined to think the later will be before the former, since the schedule for alpha was for 2011, unless the timeline now has changed. In any case it is a good news. Yes based on the talk with one of the E-FLEX powertrain gurus of GM, he said it could be adapted to any drive set up.
  13. Mr. Siegen the trick word is average automotive manufacturer incentive. Since all the trucks are offering heavy incentives and since GM, Ford and Chrysler have their portfolios truck heavy they are going to have higher AVERAGE incentives. Let us compare apples to apples. I am going to use carsdirect.com prices as they tend to hover around nationwide average retail prices. Toyota Camry LE (4cyl) vs. Chevrolet Malibu LS (4cyl). Chevy retails for $22,275 carsdirect price is $20,160 - incentives of $2,115 (9.5%). Toyota retails for $21,375 carsdirect price is $18,430 - incentives of $2,945 (13.8%). So Toyota is outChevying the Chevy, in the incentive department. Since when did that happen? Out of curiosity, let us even bring the Accord LX 4cyl auto. Honda retails for $22,375 carsdirect price is $19,958 - incentives of $2,417 (10.8%). I triple checked my calculations and numbers there. In December, of those three, only Chevrolet gained sales wise. Now let us compare the Turd Base V6 2dr 4x2 Regular Cab vs. Silverado 4x2 regular cab LT. Chevy retails for $27,465 carsdirect price is $24,110 - incentives of $3,355 (12.2%). Toyota retails for $23,185 carsdirect price is $17,698 - incentives of $5,487 (23.7%). We need no explanation there. Now Silverado sells more than 4 times what Turd does, while the Malibu sells less than half what Camry does, of course the average incentives will be higher for Chevy than Toyota. And GM carried more other duds like Trailblazer, but where the main market of mid-sizers and pick ups is GM is actually doing better both incentive and sales wise.
  14. Ven, How many underwears have you changed so far after looking at this thing? I have to ask the same question to Pauli too.
  15. Weekend of the 23rd.
  16. We really need to clean some cobwebs here. I mean this NOS dude still is the moderator, when he has done let's see ................................. NOShing for the forum. Camino, where is your admin power? Good to have you back, will see you in Clinton Twnshp next to next weekend if time and girl permits.
  17. Why yes it is heavy. Weighing more than the new Equinox to a mind blowing 4000 lbs. Yes it is available with the AWD.
  18. I will have to change my initial position from Aye to Nye. This thing looks bad, especially in real life photographs. The blue color which edmunds tested looks horrific and oinky.
  19. The more I look at this thing the more it looks ho hum, generic, bland and nonexistent. It seems like Daimler used the same people who designed the Chrysler models, which is good for them considering how good they treated Chrysler.
  20. But those certainly satisfied Chris. Three out of four in no time that is some effort from Mr. Doane.
  21. Gorgeous. I like the DI offerings and the availability of AWD. Has anyone seen how much that thing weighs? I mean wow!
  22. One of the few sets of GM photographs which looks good. The front looks good, and so does the interior. The rear gives a vibe of a Lexus, cannot pin point which one - but just as Balthy says, rear ends are getting anonymous anyways. I will say it is a very decent effort. The subtle blue light in the door handles and center console looks good.
  23. At least you should have caressed it to not let it feel being left out.
  24. Ran out of fluid for the fourth one?
