    Kind of a pathetic list, Beetle is cancelled, Golf production is being cut way back, Yaris is a pathetic car that sells in small numbers, Versa and Versa note are penalty boxes extraordinaire, A class is unimpressive, Accent is also a penalty box, Cruze and fusion were discontinued because GMa nd Ford couldn't figure out how to build them profitably, Fiat 500 is one of the most miserable vehicles built, and at the bottom of even this list.... And the QX 50 has to be one of the least attractive modern vehicles. Blazer is way over priced for what it is...seriously. Given the problems all of my friends seem to be experiencing with Rams...Build the few performance Golf models in Germany to sell in small numbers here....and pretty much crap can the entire list. To end on a positive note...neat video with a cool old Ford truck....back to cars.

    Why a Mexican built German GTI would replace my Mexican built German Beetle Type R when it comes time to trade cars. Mexico and Germany are run by adults, the United States, not so much. We need to re open the politics section. the real drama in the world is so much more fun to post about than KIA's latest design nightmare or how some GM motor lacks torque...     At the risk of getting banned or worse, both Obama and Trump should be looked at as war criminals. Zero respect for the office of the president as a post world war two institution. Absolutely zero. I feel the same way about Kennedy, Truman, Reagan, Clinton, Both Bushes. Feel the same way about Joe Biden. Any hope for decency or leadership out of the white house is a fools errand IMHO. Washington is pretty much the absolute bottom of the moral Universe. I absolutely agree that he did not deserve it. He belongs in prison for a number of things....just like Trump. We should dynamite mount Rushmore, it is a moral and visual desecration to a sacred Indian mountain. Making it in the first place was wrong, keeping it there is wrong also. Dynamite for the win. The sooner the better.

    ...and is the reason I will never own another car with a 1, 4 or 5 in the first digit of the vin. Not buying something built by people who elect such a person. Ever. Everything we buy will be from the Chinese in 20 years anyways....

    The pain is more going to be like the family that buys a house in Connecticut in 1682 and is living in a modernized version of the same house in 2019...around a very long time. It's over valued at 20 bucks a share. The Chinese will eventually own a good deal of the country. they are playing the long game we are politically incapable of.

Other car makers will bring out more desirable electrics. I love your rants... Absolutely. The pain is only starting for Tesla shareholders. Or sunk them... But they were smart enough not to follow through...

    It's still a bad buy at the price of a Whopper....and my good friend Dustin Got food poisoning the last time we ate at burger king. Cost him $350 in an ER visit....which is far cheaper than the utter financial bath Tesla investors are going to take. More sane at least... ...or retreat to a private island and watch porn. That way he can mentally escape how badly his car company failed. They are far too smart for that... Even he is not dumb enough to loose that much money. In five years, Tesla stock will be equal to pre bankruptcy GM stock in value. I don't pity them in the least, the writing was on the wall when they bought them. Ford can go away also IMHO....

    For better or worse, richer or poorer....has gone the way of the dodo bird... On the Visa thing....our current political climate is just vile. A trillion dollars a year in additional government debt....trade deficit is the worst it has ever been...consumer and student debt is as high as it has ever been...about that...yeah... Staying debt free and living modestly myself.

    Given Ohio's obesity rate, maybe converting it into the worlds largest food court makes more sense. The food workers union is easier to work with than the UAW, or so I am told. The liability politically and with the unions is greater than a million a month.
