  1. That is unacceptable. I have done better with three quarter ton trucks towing trailers.
  2. Right...because the blue flame 6 running on leaded gas in the 53 Corvette ought to be the climax of GM performance.
  3. Yes. I am not shrek...friend and co worker of mine has a 16 year old son your size. Kid plays hockey...on skates he is slightly under seven feet tall.
  4. The 86 is a Subaru and the Camry is a decent vanilla sedan. The 8 speed in the Ranger would make me give it the nod over the aging Tacoma. Prius is funky and cool but not my thing.
  5. Both choices I can thoroughly applaud.
  6. Ok...now that I have resolved to stop hating Ford I have enough hate for the Patriots and the cowboys.
  7. Agreed...was ? in comparison to infinity and Acura.
  8. SSEi Bonneville was a better looking car...more American...probably better fuel economy real world...I would hazard a guess more fun to drive. We have lost ground.
  9. For me I would much rather have an A4 or an older C class Benz
  10. Actually I think Fusion hybrid titanium cpo would be a sweet spot there. Or...if a Fusion Sport ever came up CPO.
  11. If we are talking Jetta Sportwagen still wish it was available in TDI form. Alltrack is cool but I think a dalrs flop for VW.
  12. As an enthusiast....it is kind of hard to find mainstream cars that live up to your expectations. Have been impressed with the Legacy and Camry both as FWD sedans as basic sedans. But neither of them is an Audi A4, GLI Jetta, Kia Stinger, Cadilalc CTS or the like.

  14. Sport touring wagon is an idea I can get behind.
  15. On the un happy side.... https://www.apnews.com/90d6d2b3baba40839d95af1d3ee5569a How many catholic churches are there in Texas....this is huge.
  16. I think Darker Rims would help it...although I am Firmly on the Grand Cherokee side of the fence when it comes to these twins.
  17. I will die a happy man knowing that I have listened to the sound of angels feet and the soundtrack of the gods. This thing is Thor's hammer, polished.
  18. Agreed...but this car offers something unique in terms of AWD, resale, reliability, and Subaru knows how to run a business. Unlike VW and some other companies. And nobody builds a CVT that I like.
  19. I actually think FCA is doing fine in many ways. They are building good products that people want.
  20. Which will also slow electrification and the introduction of new domestic models.
  21. I think that IS the rage of the future...or the moment, in cars. Thinking this may be one of the best affordable sedans available.
  22. One in that color Blue lives just around the corner for me. It often sits in the driveway when the weather is better....my wife and I pass by it when I walk at night. You are right...much better in person.

  24. For an affordable sedan, this is a spectacular choice given the AWD system, reliability and resale of Subaru. Makes the Malibu rather irrelevant.
