  1. My daughter and I took an uber in Buffalo where the driver was on Facebook the whole trip. Daughter reported driver...uber was not happy.
  2. You seemed perfectly rational and sane to me anyways,
  3. I prefer it when you rant about cars to ranting about technology.
  4. AC DC can do well in Amish country...they have their own heavy metal... We have never used sarcasm before here at C and G so no one recognized it.
  5. Actually since GM has probably built more cars than anyone else more GM cars have been crushed than anyone else's. This is not unique to electrics. Tell us how you really feel.
  6. Emotionless cars are a bad thing. Driving to st Louis and back over the weekend has reminded me about just exactly how bland the automotive landscape has become.
  7. All I want is a dog that does not s#!t on my hardwood floor...looks like the good gentleman from New jersey advocates technology that could provide that. All references to the Cowboys are offensive. I am triggered and need a safe space. Better that pictures of his Ford....what a difference one letter can make. Don't like Fords any more than I like dogs s#!tting on my floor. And you all that 'blu was the only angry old man yelling at people to get off of his grass.
  8. Dude...all I got to say is I was having a decent day until you bring the Cowboys in....would downvote this one if there wasn't a chance of a free meal if I visited your restaurant in Montreal. Lets keep things civil boys.
  9. I am quite stubborn in mine...
  10. Just make it an ev...that would make it better... No, seriously...I think having a 4 wheel drive vehicle can jibe nicely with concern for nature.
  11. There is a complete lack of everything in terms of my nations politics and ethics. Don't really quite frankly think that there has been a day when I have been more disgusted with my government or the state of my country.
  12. Exactly. And let Toyota build them. Ford, Chrysler, GM and others build more upscale and exciting vehicles. I will happily concede this portion of the market to Toyota.
  13. Love the vintage Mustang fastback in signal flare red in the video...
  14. Purple also looks really good on the Chevrolet SSR. Local collector had one....it was sharp....
  15. I am a fan on sporty, small or muscle cars....everything else prefer a bit more somber myself.
  16. LOTS of good GM content.
  17. No one wants color...my friends that sell cars tell me everyone wants grey, silver, black or white. Cars ordered in colors sit on the lot.
  18. Car dealers are a huge problem...they are more worried about selling warranty's and stuff through the F and I guy than selling products. I think it is immoral to force manufacturers to be legally mandated to sell through dealer networks. I could see a Tesla esque future from a dealership standpoint.
  19. Damn...a German car that it won't break me to own.
  20. 24 on regular it does not cost much more to fuel that beast than the Beetle with premium at 30 or 32.
  21. Interested in your opinions on this.
  22. More than lives....once it starts saving insurance companies money..it will be there. The cost of car accidents is often astronomical given injury and suffering costs. Does not take much of a reduction for insurance companies to mandate that this stuff be installed and lobby congress for laws regarding it.
  23. Eventually real pickups will be electric but that will be thirty years in the future....I will be done driving for the most part...or babbling to myself incoherently in a nursing home. That is fantastic MPG
