Plus they seem to really care about customers. They are not perfect, but I like the idea of choice and being able to get the vehicle I want. FCA seems to understand that.

Looking at Fundamentals beyond Stock Market I see clouds on the Horizon...but am here as an auto enthusiast. That 69 Mach 1 from the other thread...needs to be a Super Cobra Jet. Love me some vintage Iron.

Maybe it is time for certain Legacy carmakers to pass away off of the scene and be replaced by Rivan and Tesla and the like. Just sayin...we should not have bailed out the banks either. Free Market economics would be a great thing if we would just try it.

CES 2019: 2019 Nissan Leaf Gains More Range :Comments
A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in CES
And your argument fails on another ground...uniqueness. one could argue that the rest of the Nissan lineup, outside of perhaps the Z car and Maxima, is just as ugly as the new Leaf. Therefore, being Ugly is non unique to electric vehicles and common with Nissan ICE cars. I can say this more openly and honestly than you can, as I have no inherent bias against Asian cars. Hell....my son races a Nissan 240 and my daughters boyfriend races a Z car. But you know my feelings about Ford...the Nissan lineup pretty much makes me want to run into a Ford dealership and drop a large amount of cash like yesterday. So in the end I think we pretty much agree....the Leaf is hideous.- 18 replies

Agree completely. Which is why I am in the process of calling both of my senators and demand that not another dime be spent to bail out automakers.

Which is why I am a little bit miffed at both of my senators for trying to force GM into keeping Lordstown open.

Free markets work best. I am more liberal on some issues but companies should be able to hire and fire who they want. Honda here in Ohio is non union and they have never had a layoff.

Which are going away in a few months anyways. Not sure that they also don't get some form of strike pay.

Not for those of us that had the good sense to read a book instead. I live my life doing business with adults...certain individuals do not qualify.

I was trying not to be political. But yes the Trump reference was clear. Would save time waiting in drive through lines at Wendy's.
