Since I don't want this thread to devolve into a flame war I suggest we all look at pictures of kittens or vintage muscle cars or whatever. But I highly second what you are saying.

I would agree completely. Trump will not reverse the outward flow of jobs, he is making a vain attempt to play to his base, that is all. Agree though that it is a matter of national security, but that boat largely sailed thirty or forty years ago. My feelings about Trump would quite frankly force me to buy a car made by a non American manufacturer in a non American plant. Not going to buy a vehicle screwed together by people who elected that buffoon. YMMV. Buick will only speed up outsourcing jobs, nothing is going to change that reality.

In other words, slower than the current Miata. Not every vintage car had to survive....I think this is actually fine...

Sweet looking ride, and congrats!

April 2018: Ford Motor Company
A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in Sales Figure Ticker
Flex is an interesting product. I actually will be sorry to see it go. My real hope is that Ford can get back to building cars they are passionate about. If they do that, I will probably flip and start liking Ford again. I like them up until the mid 1970's and like the Mustang and the trucks.- 4 replies

Exactly....! I think given the current state of the country not eating lead paint chips might be a better warning to people. Just sayin...

Yeah that is going to be one honey of a truck.

Yeah I get lots of flack from my kids. My middle daughter is vehemently anti GM for whatever odd reason. We had lots of GM vehicles when she was growing up, not sure where this comes from. She is dating a guy who wants a Focus Rs but otherwise loves imports. Daughter and Son (oldest son) are pretty much convinced life on the planet as we know it will end if I buy a GTI. And yet they like the Wife's Beetle R Line. Go figure. Found a few gently used Acura and Honda vehicles...slight patina included.

My previous sale was my Mini cooper, which i sold after about 100,000 miles of additonla use for about 11,000 less than I paid for it, so about eleven cents a mile. Buying cars and holding on to them is usually the cheapest bet.

Maybe...I would so take this over a navagator. -
I have seen a bunch of the full size GM cars of that era running around lately. It was a very good era.

I love the V versions of the Caddies but spending that much i would buy a used 911 I think. However the Cadillac V cars are sublimely good IMHO. Definitely love the big Benz coupes though...
