  1. How did you ever fit in a Chevy LUV? Just have had one hell of a sunroof. Guy sitting next to me in the training class I am taking is still the proud owner of the 65 Plymouth he and his dad restored back when he was in high school.
  2. I doubt they will sell many on the Metra as it is only available with GLI trim package.
  3. Sorry about your Honda Drew. When are you going to finally unload that? Or they pulled it because pedestrians, shrubbery and curbs on set were not safe from the voracious appetite of the mustang.
  4. Since there is no good way to test for impairment. ..or a standard... Exactly.
  5. IIRC to defecate means to take a dump. Is that the Montezumas revenge edition for southern export south of the border only? Our Ohio Jack Asses are Jack Assier...lifted powerstrokes running bald tires and rolling coal. Very few will ever be used off road.
  6. Yep....I will happily watch companies like Porsche build SUVs if they keep building 911s.
  7. That was like the best car and the whole world was like "so what" when GM sold it. I don't know. Not really a huge fan of the Kia look as a Luxury car. It doesn't have the same clean flair that the Audi does. Don't really hate it but it doesn't really turn me on either.
  8. Yeah I need to buy tires for the Beetle also.
  9. Agree on all of the above...but absolutely love heated seats.
  10. I would buy a Lexus instead just for the resale and reliability factor. My daughter is an automotive claims adjuster and she tells me what they pay out when they total cars. Average Kia has the fair market resale value of a warm damp popsicle. Yeah...there is a part of me that could be passionate about a CPO stinger.
  11. It came off fairly well on the GM cars. With Ford the Thunderbird of 77 was the beginning of the end IMHO for desireable mainstream Ford passenger cars. In a bland market where I am reaching for product to like it is a rock star among cars. Next to a tri power 65 GTO 4 speed it looks like Nancy Pelosi in the buff.
  12. Quoted for absolute truth. The ST us an apoealing SUV. Still luke the Blazer styling better though.
  13. Which is what makes GTI, WRX, ST, RS, R, and ST more than just letters in a soup bowl. Finding them not beaten to death is a bit of an issue. We looked at that for one of my sons friends. What is out there has pretty much been ridden hard and put away wet.
  14. Ahhh...I work for a university so tuition is covered. Partially how my daughter will be buying a WRX in the next year or two.
  15. I am 53 and my youngest goes away to college next year. I want to enjoy my status as a free man...well sort of...still married and don't plan on changing that.
  16. Kids love love love the idea of a Mustang GT...wife feels the exact opposite. Foe me...it is how bland everything else on the market is...I am only going to live so long. A couple of them. Would not mind an S2000 either.
  17. You are soooo right...absolutely. Two things drive me that direction-would like to start autocrossing again and that particular chassis does well at a lot of venues here in Ohio. Also, wife and family like them so it is a much easier sell at home than a Camaro, Mustang, Miata, or Focus ST. Were it just me and I had my choice of anything it would be mustang GT first Choice Civic Type R second choice...Golf R might well come in third.
  18. Edge ST seems like a desirable package. I would not mind test driving one. ....and yet I really like the looks of the Blazer. Hope GM is able to sell this one in enough quantity to make margins and keep it in production. Actually I find it attractive.
  19. If I go for a mid sized sedan and want to keep it a long time...do you think these trade offs are worth it for long range durability and resale or would I be better off to look at something else? Agree on the Camry not feeling as solid... Thinking BRZ or Miata may well be next car...but seriously thinking Sedan also.
  20. Odd...I like this vehicle but still prefer both the Escalade and Navigator strongly to this.
