  1. You don't need a tracking device for me, just look for the closest restaurant that serves some sort of good ethnic food and you will have no trouble locating me. You might loose respect for me for saying this, but I so want a Bolt. Very nice looking vehicle, practical as hell, in expensive to operate, and unique.
  2. I am personally very impressed with the new Imprezza.
  3. Agreed. And I am the resident sport compact guy. You will never get an argument from me on the F type, probably my favorite production car at the moment.
  4. I would agree. Head of our department at work just ditched his Lexus for a Cadillac CTS, Cadillac is definitely building fantastic products.
  5. The fact that Audi, Volkswagen, Subaru, GM, and Mazda seem to be doing well is encouraging to me.
  6. I am then slightly less nuts or more nuts for rescuing 5 cats, including a Maine Coon... Agreed!
  7. There are those of us who have raised teenage sons and are just hooked on the words Turbo and NOS after watching Fast and Furious eleven billion times with our offspring. And yes, very interested as well.
  8. I have been wrong about far more than many posters here....but I have learned and moved on. I find being wrong kind of liberating, because ti gives me the freedom to learn new things. There is no shame at all in it. Oliver machinery just has the look...
  9. In other news, I have a new love and it is a vintage machine made in Michigan in the 50's.... A 1951 Oliver 159 A Industrial Pattern makers woodworking lathe. Cabinet shop here in Columbus was shutting down after many years and I got a fantastic deal on the condition that I had the machine removed by the end of the business day. Right now it is partially disassembled in my garage awaiting for me to re assemble it and show it some love. Also have taken in an exchange student, a fine young man named Magnus from Denmark. He will be a sophomore at my daughters high school. Here is an example of a restored Oliver 159, thinking I will paint mine kind of the dark green Pullman painted their passenger rail cars in the 1930's...
  10. You won't hear this from the non Ford loving side of me...but...Ford has built some damned fine bread and butter cars through the years. In one sense I see this as a spiritual successor to the Falcons of the 60's, which were also excellent vehicles of their era. That car just has the look!
  11. The Contour SVO was a sublimely good car. My daughter loves this vehicle, and yes, she prefers other young women.
  12. I so need to find time to do these...busy...will catch up soon...this one looks like fun!
  13. Agree on CCAP...and I am way behind on Dream car garage.
  14. I still wish ccap liked someone other than Dallas in terms of football....and Surreal likes the Mustang way to much over the Camaro for my tastes....other than that they are both Aces in my book.
  15. Agreed. In the case of Chryco, sounds like a Chinese curse or a Trojan horse... This would have done a lot for them.
  16. I would so rock Balthazars wagon and the sweet mid sizers of Hurst Olds...
  17. I like them also. I like the 65/66 Mustang Fastback more than almost any other post war American car...but it is also rather dated.... Sergio needs to retire and take up Golf. Jeep is the only valuable part of the equation...
  18. His escape was totaled, and he bought a Focus. So his Escape did not escape, sadly...
  19. I don't know that GM needs to sully its reputation with sloppy seconds...or more like thirty seconds... I talked about how Chryco was going to have to build relevant product for years on this forum and everyone thought I was a hater...and now Chryco only seems to build retro muscle cars and the badly dated 300....
  20. On the other hand, i am happy to see you back.... Sorry I have not been around much the last few days, work has been insane. Getting ready to host an exchange student in my home. His name is Magnus and he is from Denmark. Very cool indeed! ...imagine a golden shower of responses... Interesting....
  21. Get well soon! Love the Rover, and that is the best color ever on my favorite post WW II Ford...maybe even my favorite psot WW2 American Car...Mustang is gorgeous. 61-62 Corvette is maybe the only Post WW II car that might Eclipse that era of Mustang fastback... NICE Choice of Restaurants. XJR and 8C are fantastic choices as well, and ahve not gotten enough love in the dream car garage threads...THANKS for posting this up!
