Right, because forcing people to buy American products and shoving them down my throat will work so well. This is just pushing consumers like me further away. And no, I do not think the American demands are fair at all in the least.

I am quite frankly so disgusted with the country that I no longer fly on Boeing products. Aside from the occasional hockey game I agree completely. We gave up the required skill set a long time ago. Most of the people who actually know how to do this crap speak Mandrin.

Yes, product like that from Honda will make selling Volkswagen products much easier for you. If it flies, floats or f@#&s you are better off renting it. I think this an open and shut case for a full body condom.

They actually have made a major accomplishment in that they have built a sports car less attractive and less interesting than the Civic Del Sol.

A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in Fiat
So long as it has Italian leather on the seat of that buggy and they sell more than 7 of them in North America Sergio will be happy.- 13 replies

Good thing cars don't need to sexually reproduce to survive, because this would be forever without a partner...

2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS is upon us
A Horse With No Name replied to oldshurst442's topic in Mercedes-Benz
Out of respect for our Canadian cousin i will not down vote him as I should for devaluing a great song with a miserable car. Ohhh I can think of real reasons to keep it under a blanket...just not the ones that Benz would like. -
Good thing everything I want to own is either built in Mexico or Germany by German corporations or built in japan by Japanese corporations. I am going to thoroughly enjoy watching this one unravel. Hence my intense hatred for the UAW. They have never been about reasonable.

Honda News: Honda Has A Lower-Cost Civic Type R in the Cards
A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in Honda
If you lopped everything ugly off of that thing you would be left with a wooden tooth pick. But when they re introduce this next year they will build 3000 copies and sell them for ten grand over. If they mess with the exclusivity their fanboi base is going to be pissed. Given the styling on the latest Accord, walking and chewing bubble gum is complex for them. But yes, they love to keep it simple.- 16 replies

I have no idea how to be civil, I have absolutely no love for the UAW or its Canadian equivalent. Unreal.

Honda News: Honda Has A Lower-Cost Civic Type R in the Cards
A Horse With No Name replied to William Maley's topic in Honda
Considering they sold most of what they built for ten grand over sticker, not sure why they want to make this move. Honda is infuriatingly irrational.- 16 replies

Every car manufacturer has to put up with this from some dealership's. Direct marketing would be a great way to go.

At the Air Force Museum in Dayton there is a rocket that made 30, 000 horsepower and was the size of a Ford 289. I thought about smuggling it out and dumping it in the Fastback back in the day, but figured military security might frown on that... ...in that sense Horsepower/displacement might have made my life really exciting in one way or another.

So my daughter is dealing with some astonishingly stupid claims. The two right now that feature GM products involve an 87 RWD Cutlass that the owner recently purchased and financed for over forty grand because it was really clean and had low miles. It is a write off with more than a little negative equity. Second vehicle is equally insane owner of a 2012 Malibu had 4 serious accidents on four consecutive days. She has a dozen other claims right now seemingly just as wild.

Dammit man, the Subie did not have a turbo hydro matic 350 or tail fins either....

One of my friends with an M3 lives in town and he is so soured on car ownership he is thinking of getting a bike and riding the Bus. And he could afford a 911 or CTS V if he wanted to.

He leads an exciting life. Right now he is matching his wool socks collection. He almost hyperventilate at the thought of shuffleboard. And he is so afraid of electricity he wants to go back to six volt electrical systems an AM radio. During cash for clunkers father of a friend traded in a 400,000 mile Ranger with no radio, no heat and floors so rusted water poured through them in rain storms. He traded it on a smart car because he reasoned the smart could not be as miserable as that Ranger. He later admitted it was actually worse and wanted his old truck back.

I had a neighbor drive one for about 25 years. He could have financed the space shuttle and the Apollo mission continuation with what repairs cost on that thing. BMW ownership is not something i desire by any rational means.
