  1. Hudson would ahve been a sharp ride done pro touring style like the B-59 IMHO.
  2. I like it really well also. I find this vastly superior to the Retro look of cars like the Mustang, which has gotten really old IMHO.
  3. That would be an improvement.
  4. One could think that would be a rational marketing opportunity.
  5. By this measure a Chevy Cruze is better than a funny car or a top fuel dragster.
  6. The classic quote on this came from a Porsche test driver. When asked how many of the cars they actually sold ever reached top speed....he replied..."all of them in bar room bench racing sessions." A lot of members here are quite happy dating guys with a door at their lower back.
  7. It is kind of odd, but if you ahve money and want to why not? You tube is full of videos of them outrunning Hellcats. Anything American, Most of the American news media is pretty much corrupt and inept. I do follow the Wall Street Journal for economic news, Democracy Now for political new as they are completely independent, and a little bit of National review to put a little bit of conservative balance into the mix. But mostly BBC, Al Jazzera and non American news sources. You would have to be tall enough for the grill to be able to reach your butt. I think your strong American V8 will probably just nibble on your shoulders.
  8. In my mind it does. They are increasingly unpopular in left hand drive countries as well.
  9. The Good news is that Studebaker will be coming back...in that more continuation Avanti's will be built out of spare parts found in barns....than actual Alfa products in about three years.... You will be able to have any color you want so long as it is black...as all three cars they build for the US market will be black. One more nail in the coffin, and we are running out of both coffin and nails.
  10. ...and American made electrical components to run the factories that fill American landfills with Chinese made crap...
  11. I have a lot of respect for the Japanese, but they are very good at doing this. A Honda engineer once confided in me that was why Honda bought so much American made steel...they wanted to be sure of the quality.
  12. I will never buy another UAW built vehicle again given the choice.
  13. ...and every year from now till Doomsday.
  14. It's all a matter of language. If they could just change suspend to cancel, I might be a happy guy.
  15. Quotes for truth. Tesla also has astronomical cash flow issues.
  16. Prices on all of them are going up.
  17. Must be incest because that family tree does not branch. Seems Ford built a very exclusive two seater and sold out rather rapidly at obscene prices.
  18. Spending quality time In my workshop myself. Almost everything in there is American made but I don't want to be told I have to buy American products. We're they to mandate legally that I had to buy American tools, I would find a way to buy Asian and European machines out of spite.
  19. In it's own way a sublime automobile but very expensive for what it was...like 35 grand in 1002, equivalent of maybe 50 grand plus now.
  20. Ohhhhhhhhh it can happen. Never underestimate the stupidity or corruption of any administration elected by the American people regardless of party. I could see Dems crossing party lines on this easily.
  21. Right, because the Corvette, 911, Miata and the like really are not a thing.
