  1. You and me both. And every pastor I've sat under has warned against spiritual nuttiness. Sounds like you've sat under some good Pastors....
  2. Pain in the arse toi wrok on and about as reliable as a vintage british sports car... One in pristine shape cruises around here...
  3. And I have zero problems with Christianity done well....I go to church every week in fact...it's the nuts that scare me....
  4. I feel bad the the Suzuki guys here in Columbus, thgey were fighting the good fight and trying to make a go of it with like zero support.... Wonder how cheaply you can buy a Kisashi right now?
  5. I passed it on the first try, wife passed it on the first try, and son passed it on the first try with a 100 percent on the written and a perfect on the driving portion. Actually thought of C SPEC when my son passed his...he used my Miata, and the female instructor was really imnpressed that my son was taking the test with a manual shift. Instructor gave him a very rare perfect on the driving portion...then it turns out that she was a car nut and a SAAB fanatic, so they spent the next 45 minutes after the test discussing vintage SAAB rally cars. Too cool IMHO and too true!
  6. This is true, but I really admire how Camino does EVERYTHING cash in hand, and doesn't get ahead of himself. I have learned from him, and do not over extend myself as much....
  7. Very true... my friend had a 99 turbo-four eclipse manual and that thing was a joy to drive. It was the first manual I ever drove. They are a great car.....
  8. Amazing....I am damn near in tears after seeing THAT!
  9. The bad thing about this is that had this happened in Ohio, the parents might not even ahve been charged, as Ohio has an exemption from health care for religious reasons...
  10. Russel and Brandi Bellew were sentenced to five years of probation on Tuesday after they pleaded guilty to negligent homicide in the death of Brandi's biological son, Austin Sprout, 16. An autopsy found Austin died of an infection caused by a burst appendix. http://abcnews.go.com/US/oregon-faith-healer-parents-probation-sons-death/story?id=17273845#.UJfnjmcyrlY
  11. True that...the local Mitsu club doesn't even allow current gen Eclipse owners to join the club, the car is so disliked.
  12. Absoloutely fantastic what Chryco has done in a few short years with the whole lineup, actually....
  13. Thank the non living god that someone else here has the balls to rank the Altima last...ughhh..... And yes, Passat TDI and Fusion FTW!
  14. This is getting interesting....
  15. dfelt, that ancient (53ish) limo is cool!
  16. That particular house backs towards a creek, so its in a very peaceful setting..... I've been posting this stuff because I'm startingt to do some remodel work, and thinking I'm going to bein my current house for a long time....just dreaming about othber possibilities between sanding, painting, and cleaning my current digs....
  17. Here is a more modern house, of the 1950's style I was telling Dfelt I liked...it is near my wife's church.... http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/2469-Brookwood-Rd_Columbus_OH_43209_M34264-45742 And Roger...true that about junk in the garage!
  18. The Abarth version seems like fun....
  19. Dfelt...I now understand the grewat room thing and having people over...and why you love modern houses.,... I like reading quietly 95 percent of the time, so give me a quiet book lined study, and we would be good!
  20. psst...blu...older wrangler....
  21. http://www.houzz.com/micentury-modern
  22. Now see, to me...the house Dfelt posted has a cool driveway says 1960's, and looks more dated than the house at the start of the thread... House behind mine is for sale, this is what houses in my neighborhood look like.... http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/9370-Magnolia-St_Orient_OH_43146_M37854-45471 I guess I really like more traqditional American architecture, and a lot of the 1960's were kind of an unsuccesful or less succesful attempt to be modern. Now mid century modern on the other hand...I love!
  23. ghastly, sterile, character free, mcmansions! Too funny, but guess depending on where you grow up, history is for the history books and the NorthWest tends to go modern and new. My sixztreen year old daughter really loves Modern, and can't wait to move to the northwest. She just loves the thought of living in Seattle or someplace along the left coast....
