  1. The Abarth version seems like fun....
  2. Dfelt...I now understand the grewat room thing and having people over...and why you love modern houses.,... I like reading quietly 95 percent of the time, so give me a quiet book lined study, and we would be good!
  3. psst...blu...older wrangler....
  4. http://www.houzz.com/micentury-modern
  5. Now see, to me...the house Dfelt posted has a cool driveway says 1960's, and looks more dated than the house at the start of the thread... House behind mine is for sale, this is what houses in my neighborhood look like.... http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/9370-Magnolia-St_Orient_OH_43146_M37854-45471 I guess I really like more traqditional American architecture, and a lot of the 1960's were kind of an unsuccesful or less succesful attempt to be modern. Now mid century modern on the other hand...I love!
  6. ghastly, sterile, character free, mcmansions! Too funny, but guess depending on where you grow up, history is for the history books and the NorthWest tends to go modern and new. My sixztreen year old daughter really loves Modern, and can't wait to move to the northwest. She just loves the thought of living in Seattle or someplace along the left coast....
  7. Sweet, wish I lived in a so I could still be racing, but it is rainy and cold here in Ohio... good luck and keep posting, sir!
  8. 'm confused
  9. Z06...having met your wife...keep her...she's more cool than the vette.... Not that I m ind you getting a grand sport, mind you... Plans for me wopuld be a BRZ, possibly, or a GTI...possibly a Focus ST, but I like the BRZ and GTI better. Also thinking a Cruze at some point as a more family oriented car. Still really want to own a vintage pick up truck at some point...went and looked at a 65 Chevy shortbed that was a southern truck this week, but on a lift it looked more like an Ohio truck so, no go....
  10. Have fun, glad someone else here is having fun with motorsports....
  11. Happy birthday, Drew!
  12. Neat real estate...butr add a zero to the prioce of what we have here in Columbus. Still...if I had the cash....
  13. http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/1801-Franklin-Park-S_Columbus_OH_43205_M45200-63463 Check out the video...the way a house should be, IMHO!
  14. Kisahi is a rewally decent car....but I think its a lt's too little too late. Would have liked to see the Swift come here...
  15. For the same basic coin, Verano or focus ST still. Better cars exist for people who care about driving.
  16. Congrats....that car should be beaten upon regularly. My friend Tom races his with slicks on all 4 corners, and it's not even remotely stock. It's street legal....but barely.... At one autocross he was beating the Vipers and 911's by about 3-4 seconds on a 90 second course...nice thing about it is thyat it was a Porsche Club of America autocross and GM was taking it to porsche on their home turf....!
  17. Racing around here ends in October....unless it's rallycross. The MINI is too nice to beat up in a rallycross, and they won't let convertibles run in rallycross un less you have a hardtop/Rollbar, so the Miata ain't goin...
  18. Why do you think I haven't had the heart to finish the ST review...? The Verano is a LOT more car than even the Focus ST for the money. I could see buying something Sporty like a BRZ or GTI, but...damn...the Verano is one of the best efforts I've seen yet from anyone at building a passenger car.
  19. I would love to live back in the day, and enjoy buying something like that 1950 Chevy new...right up until the time my kids got Polio and I couldn't help them. There are bvenifits to living in modern times...as much as I like vintage iron, modern fuel injection and having a car start every time at ten below in a winter evening is awesome. However, I am still with blu...bring on the simplicity.
  20. Congrats on the Charger...they are SWEET! Patroit is one of my fav. Vehicles in the C and G fleet...
  21. GM does not hinge things well on many of their trucks. Chevy/GMC work vans have suck-ish hinges compared to the Fords. If it comes down to it, let me know...I have a couple of good body guys who owe me faovrs....
  22. Got busy working and didn't get to autocross much in september or october.... Keep us posted!
  23. It's sad really, because they had to know they were lying. On thew plus side, I now have one more reasopn not to buy a Hyundai or Kia.
