  1. Oh, and I can't link the indivicual truck, it is #67 of 67 Vehicles. Maroon Chevrolet ex. cab 4x4 truck. Thanks for any help you can offer... Chris
  2. http://www.buckeyehonda.com/used-cars.aspx Check out this Chevrolet truck...my 19 year old daughter Elizabeth wants a Chevy truck and I've been looking around. Thinking of going and test driving this one...but the price seems really high. We bought our Safari Van and our Concorde from this dealership and they treated us right...but this still seems high. What should this thing sell for? Chris
  3. Was working on something (don't worry gm4life, it was domestic and not imported) with a friend and was putting one last wire tie on to finish up. My foot slipped on an oily spot on the concrete and when I fell forward my left hand got jammed between the rotating fanblade (metal) and the fan shrowd. It was a quick second before I could get it free. A very good doctor put eveything back together...but OUCH! Thankfully, amazingly, no broken bones or badly damaged tendons, but lots and lots of stitches. It's amazing how much you can bleed from your hands if you cut a few arteries. Thanks much to my friends for getting me to the Emergency Room right away, and thanks to the good folks at Adena Medical for getting me right in and getting the bleeding stoped. I've always wondered, everytime I've seen a cylcist or motorcyclist riding without gloves how much blood you could loose from an injured hand. Well, I guess now I know. Been working on mechanical things for abot 35 years and this is the first time I've hurt myself like that, so I don't feel too stupid. But...be careful working on your project cars, everyone... Chris
  4. We are all depressed because of what's happening to GM and the economy. Maybe we all need to follow your lead, Camino, and go play in the garage with our cars. Chris
  5. ...but it is creating nerw opportunities... Glad to see her running again, !!!TED!!! Chris
  6. I love Avanti's, good to see this one getting some love... Chris
  7. Now you just need to find a cheap Cutty as another old GM car...ahhh...the addiction begins... Chris
  8. That thing is stunning, thanks for the pics Cubical. As both a 71 and 70 Chevelle former owner, I actually like the 71 bodystyle better. To me, man...wow..I've always wanted an El Camino of that bodystyle. Too bad the rust monster took over.. Chris
  9. The Impy looks great, I think I'll be getting some Meguires. Chris
  10. happy Birthday! Chris
  11. Gran Torino is one of the best movies of the last couple years IMHO...the car didn'tn hurt, but the story and acting were very good... Saw it with the local VW club and we all liked it... Chris
  12. Which is why domestics or high production imports are the way to go. I have started doing all of my own work on my cars... Balthazar, I love diesels but I'll hold Sylvester down while you punish him if he swaps the B-59... Chris
  13. I think he real question is our long term direction as a nation. As Oldsmoboi said, anyone who wants things to return to the way things were needs an anvil dropped on their head... Chris
  14. And I'm going to break the rules and reply to my own post... Superformance Cobra! (They are built in South Africa)
  15. South Africa
  16. I still miss my 78 Cutlass...a local classic car dealer has one with 20K on it, if I had cash for it it would be in my garage. A 73-77 Cutlass or Grand Am would be cool to own, IMHO. Chris
  17. B26 Maurauder for me followed by the B-29. Anyone ever been to the air force Museeum in Dayton, Ohio? That's my fav. place on this planet... Also like the P-47 Thunderbolt, very tough plane... Chris
  18. an old 914 in really good shape...
  19. Actually ended up going to the SCCA rallycross out at national trails...skipped vintage at Mid-Ohio. Great weather here also.. Chris
  20. .,..that black 55 210 two door chev looks great, as does the white 65 two door wagon...although I think my fav. car in the bunch is the 72 (?) Olds Pace car Hurst hardtop... Chris
  21. Thanks for the pics guys, as the former owner of two chevelles I really liked the Camino's and also the 50's stuff...I have a soft spot for 50's cars. The new Camaro looks good in yellow but better in orange... Chris
