  1. And time to disappoint balthazar and tease Camino. This wagon is just as clean as the junkyard cars are trashed. Photo's don't do it justice...
  2. ...and the winner has it by a nose...
  3. 57 Chevy 4 door hardtop. The 50's section of this yard is mostly crushed and gone, but a few remain here...
  4. A nation that doesn't give a $h! will drive cars that reflect that fact. Oops, was that not politically correct? Chris
  5. And it wasn't a COE, but I saw a 40 Ford Truck the other day and thought of you, Balthazar. Chris
  6. Oldsmoboi got a model A ford, remember? I forgot that and the Intrepid and a few others. Chris
  7. Another Olds for Oldsmoboi. Interesting how these cars are elegant even in death...and a new Honda Pilot or Ridgeline is ugly right off of the showroom floor.
  8. Lost in the woods. Wonder if teenagers ever got this car "lost in the woods" when it was newer...for some good old fashioned fun?
  9. Interior shot of the 65 GTO
  10. White 67 Lemans Convertible, red interior. Must have been sharp new. ...and yes I do like lighter colors on the Chrome bumper cars also. Although if I were to order this new from GM I can think of two words for a color-Reef Turqoise. that color is awesome on a 67 Pontiac. Chris
  11. Another Buick. I agree with Sixty Eight on athe two door hardtop thing.
  12. Really cool GMC 70ish truck, orange, in a customers bodyshop. 2500 4x4. I'll try to get pics if I can tomorrow...slow day at work today. Chris
  13. So are you keeping the coabalt or trading it? Chris
  14. Actually what I like about this place is that we don't all agree. Where else on the net could you find a boat load of different Camaro's, a mid 70's Chevrolet wagon, a Prius, two 59 Buicks, a few Bezes, an Avanti, A few Cobalt SS's. Corvettes, A MINI or two, a Miata, a few cutty's, modern Buicks, W body Impala's, Soltices, BMW's, GMC trucks, a model A ford, a Buick Century, Cobalt, El Camino, Lincoln, CTS-V,68 Benneville ragtop, etc. It would be boring if we all drove the same C-4 Corvette or something. Crhis
  15. Like I said in another post, long drive, rock and roll (or whatever you wish to listen to) heart attack on a plate for a meal will do wonders. Sometimes you just need to clear your head. Chris
  16. Hey balthazar, we cana gree on 60's Pontiacs! I know lots of people who are into Miata's and only a few who are into 60's Pontiacs. As such I enjoy reading what you write. As I said in another post...diversity makes the (automotive) world go round. Chris
  17. On a similar note, I've always wondered what an Olds Kappa would have looked like... I guess a Shelby Series 1 with the Aurora powerplant will be as close as we'll ever get to that... Chris
  18. Actually, what would a 67-68 Camaro convertible look like with a Corvair convertible windshiled and done up as a speedster? Think GM had a show car that was similar. Chris
  19. FOG-how much did they want for the Camino? Chris
  20. Bubletop+wagon=Camino I like it, but I think it would be difficult to pull off and make it look right. But I like it. Chris
  21. One of our local SCCA members, Brian, who runs Aujtobody Specialists in Grandview built a nearly identical truck to this. It is blue with a big block IIRC. Chris
  22. Not sure why you would need a buble top, unless you wanted a shortened buble top for an E/C. I'll check my Ohio Junkyards again, seems like I remember seeing a B/O/P bubletop of some flavor here, and I know I've seen several old wagons. Chris
