  1. Someone at my school drives one... it looks sharp but fuel economy is poor. If I were to pick between an SX4 and a 2008 Focus... I'd go with the Focus too. Nicer interior I think. I know you guys are gonna beat me up for that but what the hey.
  2. I think a black CTS on steelies would look badass actually.
  3. Yours and mine... I've done the math! http://carsurvey.org/review_57326.html ^^ I'm not the only one either. I think it was an anomaly/fluke of some sort though. We put Bosch plugs and a K&N filter too.
  4. Agreed... That statement is wrong in many ways.
  5. The First U-Bodies were the best ones they made. We had a 3800 Trans Sport and it was one PEPPY SLED. It was also light and aerodynamic because of the composite body panels and dustbuster snout... contributing to a real world fuel economy return of ~25-27MPG City and 40-43MPG Highway... Ours went 175K before we sold it in 1999 (saw it still running on the expressway as lately as last year, recognized it by a scuff on the rear bumper... very emotional... like seeing an old friend) but I see many these days with over 300K... no joke.
  6. Two Tundras and a Tacoma with warped tailgates.
  7. My dad likes driving a minivan... I guess he's just as much a dork as I am. My mom wanted to get a Caprice Estate in 1994 but my dad was so gung ho on the Trans Sport there was no convincing him otherwise.
  8. NADA.com says 5-8.6K$ is their range.
  9. Eichmann
  10. The only good 'funny' morning show I've come across is the Jay and Kevin Show on CAT Country 93.7 KDRK in Spokane. Nice, clean, and witty. I prefer news or music usually.
  11. So the Tacoma owned by the guy I quoted earlier is back in the shop. Rats ate the wiring in it for the 3rd time. That happened to his Camry too, but not to his 1987 Suburban!!
  12. Bone stock and conservative is the only way a Yukon Denali would ever roll off a lot in my possession. But that's me... some people want to donk their SUV in the same place they shopped for it
  13. I hear Lionel Richie is looking for work...
  14. I'll be honest... I didn't know he worked for CKUA.
  15. Perhaps I'll submit a pic of the family before it gets broken up when the Venture rotates out in Jan.
  16. Maybe BV could do the photography... then he can get the Millenia fixed and afford gas for his Cutlass .
  17. Okay... I'm bored. One More!
  18. Prolly Wouldn't Hurt... Given you all promise me not to invade my forum and cause a fuss ~4 Pages Long. http://forums.ifdg.net/index.php?showtopic=3934&st=0
  19. Toy Humpers Replied I Replied And wonder of wonders A TOYOTA TACOMA OWNER spoke up (there is one among the boards)! To which a humper replied To which the Tacoma Owner replied... Then the court jester said
  20. We paid ~1200$ for the 6/160K km GMPP for the MAXX last Feb... I believe you can haggle a bit on the price, but I don't remember. You can get the GMPP anytime before 36K Miles.
  21. I'd say stick with what you are doing now unless you feel a pining to start anew.
  22. My filing cabinet of car brochures dating to 1993... and the new ones which I collect on PDF too. I scanned in the dimensional drawings from the brochure. I can do one for you if you want (given I have the brochure).
  23. So I'm on one of my aviation forums and I get to a discussion about GM vs. Toyota... someone provoked me about Toyota's superiority, so I posted this: He Replied I Replied Someone Else Replied To Which I Replied Ever run across ignorant people like that... I mean jeez... just cause it isn't on CNN, it isn't true! What would you say in my situation.
  24. The Wreck of the Walter Fritz Mondale, Capitol Steps.
