Yes sirs, my new truck is in. 2007 Sierra regular cab shortbed 2WD. It's a goodlooking truck, to be certain, however, the rear end sits a bit too high for me, it has a definite rake. Lowering blocks seem to be a simple solution. Question for anyone who knows: If my truck has progressive rate springs, that means the more pressure that is put on them, the harder they'll ride, correct? Do lowering blocks compress the springs? Can I install a set of 2" lowering blocks to level the ride height of my truck without affecting the ride? Sorry to sound like a dummy, but this is out of my line of experience. Thanks in advance!

I was following a car carrier on the way back from lunch today. Got to looking... my new truck was on it. I followed it into the dealership and watched it come off the trailer. That was quick! Just a little over 5 weeks! I am trying to temper my excitement because my internet ads aren't even up yet. I asked my salesdude for some time to try to sell the Colorado. I stopped in after work and stared grinning for half an hour. It's in their shop for PDI (pre delivery inspection) and cleanup. Fort Wayne sticker in the door jamb. Nice job, Raider!

Yup, I was gonna say Ford, as well. But it also has gray wheels. Old Ford tractors didn't have gray wheels, too, did they? Maybe somebody painted them. Somehow I thought they were red, or blue.
