  1. http://www.forbes.com/forbeslife/health/fe...cout533489.html How about this one? Are you trying to make me your websearch bitch?
  2. OK, so the gist of several studies coming to much the same conclusion isn't good enough. I'm so surprised at your response, really I am.
  3. Local dealer has an Outlook! I drove by there today at lunchtime and made a mental note to stop back after work to look it over. Forgot because my sinuses are giving me a fit.
  4. Boys! Focus! :AH-HA_wink:
  5. So, has anyone seen any cars yet this month?

    Taking a step

Well, I heard from two of the four dealerships I contacted so far, both thanking me for my interest in the 2007 Sierra crewcab. Even though I checked the box requesting only email correspondence, both places called my house and left messages in addition to the emails. I wrote back to both clarifying what I'm looking for. Hopefully now, everything will gel.
  8. Here ya go, Croc. Read this. http://www.iii.org/media/hottopics/insurance/cellphones/
  9. I see the problem. You have it switched to the "impressionist art" setting.
  10. Very cool video, but I think she looks fine after the makeup and hair, before the digital work.
  11. Government regulations killed goodlooking, fast cars for a while because the automakers didn't know of any other way to meet fuel economy and emissions standards other than to choke off their engines and downsize all the style out while trying to maintain passenger room. Nowadays, the technology is there to meet the government requirements, hence the hopeful signs for a styling renaissance.
  12. Good Lord, check out the mosquito bites on the chick in the 60's Polara 500 ad. I agree with just about everything you say in this thread, Sixty4. Chrysler's LX cars made a promise they haven't kept with subsequent designs, for the most part. Ford is hopelessly bland with their cars, save the Mustang. I really have hope for GM to regain their style dominance.
  13. Bonus point please. :AH-HA_wink:
  14. No Bobby, I didn't "line up" for that. I don't want a chick touching my dick. What, are you new here? :AH-HA_wink: More stories, please!
  15. I've seen studies that show that using a cell phone while driving is as dangerous as driving while drunk. I've written estimates for people who were hit by cell phone talkers.
  16. What are those fenders made of? Leather is a wild guess.
  17. This afternoon I saw a young Latina, face made up like a Barbie doll, hair perfectly done, with a cell phone stuck to the side of her face as she drove her broken down, clearcoat-peeling, red Dodge Shadow. When I see people on the cell phone while driving it gives me road rage. Hang up and drive, people! :AH-HA_wink:
  18. At my old job, word is that a certain secretary who chased me for a while gave a couple of guys bj's at one of the company Xmas parties, which took place at a conference hall resort here in town. At my new job, no party, but we're each getting our choice of a turkey or ham dinner basket to take home. I chose the ham, it's 10 pounds I think.
  19. I factory ordered my Colorado with a split bench even though I'm the only one in the truck most of the time. With the stickshift, I'd have to be plenty friendly with the center passenger if the need arose. It has a center armrest with storage. If I end up with this new Sierra, I'll be glad to have a bench seat with fold-down center storage/armrest. With a fullsize car, I think it is a shame split bench seats aren't more readily available. The local Buick dealership usually keeps 2 or 3 Lucernes with benches. Dash knobs have been crash-safe for decades, but I do understand that with the lack of a front center shoulder belt, and no airbag directly in front of the center passenger, that there might be concern.
  20. I was heavy into Live, and they're local boys. Now they're in the "WEHT?" file, afaik.
  21. Well, I only pay $26/month for my old faithful land line. How much is the cheapest cell plan these days? I don't even know. My dad and his wife are on a plan where their minutes roll over, they routinely have like 4500 minutes available because they just don't use the phone that often. on the tickly beard.

  23. I'm sorry, occupant. I keep getting your mail, apparently.
  24. Car insurance companies get under my skin for different reasons.
