Hmmm... some pretty good suggestions so far. In Maryland at the time, 18 was the legal drinking age. The next year, they switched it to 21. I was never really into it much, I hate feeling sick the next day and cotton mouth is for birdbrains. Do you think you want to do something that you'll be newly "legal" for? Damn, I don't even know what's legal at 18.

I don't know, it seems to be sticking just a bit again. I find that sometimes I can't get out of a thread once I'm in. It happened a couple of times yesterday and again this a.m.

I am sure this video is not the first time the Automobile guys tried to use this feature. It had to prove its uselessness before they decided to illustrate it with the video. This video is a public service, and a damn funny one. Lexus is not the only luxury car maker seemingly commited to useless technology overkill. Mercedes and BMW are also culprits. To me, a luxury car should be about taking care of the driver in useful, tangible ways, not about confusing and befuddling the driver.

Yes, I do remember seeing flashes of the smaller rear window and thinking how cheesy it was for them not to care. Maybe that's why he never got a '79, because that nose and tail really stood out and it would have been too obvious when they were using stock footage.

Cool picture of the Corvair. It seems the bare, black steel rim look has some history to it. And is that a straight pipe out the back? There is a silver/red vinyl first-gen Corvair coupe for sale on the road to my mom's. I've been thinking about stopping and checking it out.

Customers aren't allowed to drive their own cars into the shop, that's an old mechanic's rule. It has to be another employee. Viper, can you click on "download" and view it? That's what I had to do.
