  13. Yeah, Seinfeld will always be a classic in my mind. My opinion of the show has not diminished atall because of this. Michael Richards' tirade is not connecting to the tv show for me, leaving the sitcom pristine. I think he was trying to use the hecklers to improvise his act, but he crossed a line and totally went down in flames. The hecklers weren't helping their cause either. It was a bad scene all around, and it could have been overwith that night, if not for modern technology perpetuating it.

  15. Thanks for that, Camino. I really hope the car survived in good shape.

  18. Oh, I was invited to join them, of course. I just felt odd about going because I don't know them. I haven't told any other family members that Dad's plans were different this year. They all expect me to be at his house, as usual. So I'm going to make a go of it. Viper, this is going to be quite a turning point for you. Good luck today. Happy Turkey Day, all!
  19. To me, a nav screen is a distraction. People need to keep their damn eyes on the road. Onstar turn-by-turn sounds much simpler and safer to me.
  20. I was about to come in here and say I think the Lambdas will make people forget about minivans and Chevrolet needs a version with sliding doors. But you guys make some valid points. Still, a substantially reskinned Chevrolet Lambda with sliding doors sounds good to me though. It would compete successfully with the Fairlane and it would certainly be free of the minivan stigma while offering the ease of sliding doors and a power liftgate. It would appeal to moms who want to be seen as active and to dads in general. The minivan defines the driver in a sort of negative way... couch potato. The crossover sends a much more active message to its driver (reinforcing self esteem) and projects confidence to onlookers. This is an opportunity for GM to blur a segment and create a new niche that could move us from Chrysler's model, started in 1984, that everyone has copied since then.
