  3. I guess it was my grandfather's '69 F-250 pickup... 390 with 3 on the tree and no power steering. Luckily, it was not on public roads, because I was a little $h! and had to look between the dash and steering wheel to drive it. I was prolly 10 years old. He traded it in '75 for another F-250 of the same configuration, except I think that one had the crappy 360 V8.
  4. Camino, you're so tempting. Stop it! :AH-HA_wink:
  5. Darn it, I was hoping the "heavy duty" model would have a manual transmission available, instead of the CVT. I'll have to test drive a Caliber with CVT to see how it feels. I was not impressed with a test of an ION with CVT.

  7. In public? So... you'd ask that hot dude to follow you into the locker room or something so you could check his jock strap? I'm sorry I just have to attempt to shut down all this philosophical talk and maybe kill the thread in the process. There's nothing "gay" about the damn commercial. It's "PC" run amok that's ruining this country. I am sure Dodge Caliber will have a sizable gay following though, because it's a macho, versatile little cruiser.
  8. Phil Collins?
  9. NO, dammit! :AH-HA_wink:
  10. Agreed. More than likely, it's your nice package that lured them in.
  11. I understand Barry Manilow has a new album out. Hey, Trina, tell us about it, bud.
  12. My word: NO.
  13. Aww... Viper. I'm sorry, bud. It is so true, dogs are family. They're the only people I know that are happy to see you every single day.
  14. Well, too bad. I've been binging on B-class cars lately, and the Swift looks to be the most entertaining. It also looks boyish, unlike some other Bs, except for the Dodge Hornet, which so far is only a concept. I think the Swift is all-Suzuki, isn't it? I hope it's not a Daewoo. The Swift is much cooler looking than the Aveo, and the British rags all love it. It's a shame if this car cannot be brought over here, especially with the proliferation of this size of car we have now. I feel it would help Suzuki.
  15. Cool, Mr. Golden! GM has nailed the full-size SUV once again with the 900s. Excellent choice.

  17. If you were parallel parked against a curb, it didn't push your Aurora against that curb, did it? How do your left side wheels and tires look?
  18. Well, I've always liked boats. From about 1960 on up to the end, '76. GM's '77-and-up B,C and D bodies are in a different class, but I like them as well. I'd like to one day own an old car, but not right yet. I need to get my house the way I want it first.

  22. OH NO... Fly! Well, at least the excellent driver knocked the target off the door. I would say either repair or replace the fender, of course replace both doors (probably with used doors at this point), repair the quarter panel (do I see damage there over the rear wheel, or is the light playing tricks on me?)... and I have a feeling the center pillar will need some repair, judging by the way the front door is peeled inward. The bumpers will need to be loosened and dropped at the right ends for painting access, and the headlight and taillight will need to be pulled out so they don't get paint on the edges. This is ridiculous, Fly. Wha happun this time?

  24. I've seen some comparisons to a Taurus, but not a Riviera until now.
