  1. The only Asian car company I despise is Toyota. Honda's ok with me, but that Ridgeline, ewwwwww..... http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif
  2. Oh my God, get over yourselves. What in the world was wrong with Nick's sig?
  3. Impressive article. Truer words were never spoken.
  4. Not trying to be a punkass, but I think the coffee is "espresso". Perhaps the Plymouth trim package was taking its meaning from "express"... buy this car to express yourself (?).
  5. Wow, I was just sitting here thinking. The last time I was car payment-free was for a few months in 1998. I had my '94 S-10 paid off for a few months before I bought my first '98 Bug. Once in a while I get a wild hair and think of dumping my newer vehicle and buying something I could just purchase outright... no payments. That's $324 per month, plus the savings in changing unsurance coverages, that could be used for something else. But, there are so many cool new toys out there now. Such is life, I guess, when you're obsessed with vehicles like I am. They make me irrational! Does anyone else here feel the same?
  6. Stopped by the local Caddy dealer today. The new DTS is hella sexy CEO material in all black with chrome rims and performance package.
  7. [email protected]. kthx! :)
  8. Those darn little guys are popping up everywhere!
  9. Damn, I love '78-'88 A/G bodies. Yours is sweet, mouse.
  10. Some very good pictures there, Viper.
  11. Very cryptic, Fly. Can you please clarify? Have you seen these vehicles somewhere? Are they still BOF, or are they... something else?
  12. That's a cool Impala coupe, but I think the Monte Carlo should not be merely a coupe version of any sedan, it should stand alone (have its own exterior and interior styling). The '95-'99 was dangerously close to being a Lumina coupe, must we go there again?
  13. Seems pretty random there, Vipes.
  14. We have a silver '04 BMW 7 series with 22" spinners that got shot up outside a bar... hmmm... wonder why someone would do that? <_<

    Jeep Commander

Stopped by one of the local Mopar dealerships this afternoon and looked at the new bigger Jeep. Sure enough, it's blocky, but it's handsome, and despite the pics that make it look kinda tippy, it really doesn't give that impression first hand. It has a nice stance. Overall, I give it a preliminary grade of B (haven't driven it.)
  16. Vipes, think about it... you could buy this, build it and customize it. It would be great practice for a future car designer. All you'd need to do is buy a few other kits for "parts"... rims, wing, and the like. Wouldn't that be at least a little bit cool?
  17. Oh jeez. You guys know this was all a joke. No one sent me any pictures, nor did I really want anyone to, especially our underage buds. I thought if I posted a picture of a rooster, I'd get more... pictures of roosters. We could check out the cocks and move on... :) http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif
  18. Play nice, boys. Pleeeeeease? :CG_all:
  19. Sorry, I don't really see the resemblance, except maybe a hint in the headlight shape.
  20. Durn, I guess I'm the only one who sees a bit of H3 in the gun slit side windows. From the spy pictures, it appears to be better looking than the shovel-chin Durango.
  21. Very cool. I love the shooting brake bodystyle in general, as it combines sport, style and utility with emphasis on sport. The interior is TIGHT. Makes me want a Kappa Nomad even more. Next Mini will have a shooting brake available as well.
  22. Ok, let's get this party started. I only have one picture so far. A big ol' THANK YOU to the brave soul who risked everything to share this little part of himself. See if you can match the pic to the member: Come on, guys! I need more pictures. Don't be shy!
  23. I don't believe that RWD is inherently heavier than FWD. I mean, it still has to have a transmission/transaxle and a differential whether it's all stuffed up front under and around the engine or separated by a driveshaft.
  24. Prices are finally up at Chevy.com, so if anyone wants to build their own, have at it. It seems as though the LTZ has more standard features than the SS, but the SS has that awesome smallblock.
