    w00t!

Satty, I can't look at that silhouette dude jumping off the building. It makes me sick in the stomach, ugh.
  2. I have one word for that: EW. Plus, the spoiler looks like it's off a '95 Sunfire coupe... NOT a car I'd want to remind people of if I were Pontiac. In the case of the G6 coupe, the drama is built in, no need for tacky add-ons. The sharp, wide hip line (especially cool from front 3/4 view), the flowing nature of the flanks, the long wheelbase, and the fastback roof, coupled with the polished 18" rims on the GTP and bright dual exhaust tips, convey a feeling of elegant yet aggressive motion forward. Any body kit or spoiler would weigh the car down, imo. I don't want to think of Pontiac returning to ridiculous tacked-on "excitement", when it's much purer to incite emotion with sheetmetal, NOT plastic.
  3. Very cool display.
  4. Well, isn't that special... B)
  5. Ugh, we just escaped from Plasticized Pontiac Hell, and now they're at it again? Hell NO to a stupid body kit and a tacky-ass spoiler! NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!! The G6 coupe is gorgeous as is... although I could live with a subtle Ram Air hood.
  6. Funny, I don't see a hint of the Pursuit taillights as on the production car... another reason to hope the round taillights are coming for the production sedan. The vinyl is cheesy and the wing looks like total assfunk.
  7. Agreed... although pictures prolly won't be available legally for a while, I'd love to see a full gallery of GM's SEMA cars asap.
  8. I was hoping for the full hardtop, as in the orginal concept. I don't like the removable hardtop, it looks too much like the Miata. I hate the wing, and the color is too brassy. They should have left the arrowhead in the side vent. The hood vents look like Viper, yes, but they also resemble McLaren (sp?) Turbo GP. The Ecotec is capable of making plenty of power, and even all-aluminum, I bet the V8 is nose-heavy... not good for neutral handling, imo. The rest is fine.
  9. Agreed, Toni. It was a very distinctive growl they gave the 60 degree engines in those days. Too bad all that character has been stifled.
  10. The Nouera looks like it was designed by Salvador Dali.

He says he's not. He's cool though. In fact, he "dated" our receptionist for a while.
  12. Oh jeez, I was still a lurker then. :)
  13. One exhaust I did not like (and I really wanted to) was the last-gen V8 F-bodies. Waaay too much flatulence and popping when letting off the throttle. Come to think of it, my truck "farts" when letting off between first and second gear. I don't like that.
  14. I think the G6 GTP coupe is awesome with the polished wheels. Make mine Emerald Green with a 6 speed!
  15. Fight Club was soo damn homoerotic. I'd like to see that again, as well as the earlier Crash.

I actually had a dude at work admit to me he has a vibrator. :o
  17. It's a shame the 360s couldn't have a new interior for '06. That truck is badass.
  18. The taillights, rear fascia, and badging are different for '06. I like it, actually. The lamps no longer use a clear lens, they have a red lens. The bumper is smooth, has fewer contours, and of course the badging is of a different font. If it has to have a spoiler, I prefer the flat style that's now standard on base cars, as opposed to the incongruous stand-up NASCAR style one. The new front end looks racy to me, and it is subtly (sp?) different than the Impala.
  19. While gas mileage is important because we use so much of it... other factors come into play with an Aveo... the smaller engine holds less oil... the tires are small, therefore cheap... it's a handy size, etc. The whole car is less consumptive over its lifetime. We have an orange hatchback in right now for a rear bumper replacement. The guy says his wife bought it to go to work in... her other car is a Trailblazer. He said he's impressed with the Aveo's comfort and overall decency. He's happy with it. I drove it around the building to check it in for repair. It's a neat little thing, and I do mean little... but I gotta be honest with you. It would be enough vehicle for me about 85% of the time.
  20. Was it the one with the Lincoln convertible? That movie was awesomely twisted. That one sex scene blew me away.
  21. Since it's "sort of" a truck, why not call it "Redneck Riviera"? The topline version would be "Redneck Riviera Reserve."
  22. Welcome back, Lord Stafford. I was asking about you the other day.
  23. Happy Birthday, Ven and mute! :)
  24. Nice slogan: "We are happy. It's not logic."
  25. Very general, yet razor-sharp, Enzora. I agree. Size classes are getting more and more fragmented. We could fall back on EPA size classifications whereby the interior space in square footage dictates size class.
