  2. Come on now, that's not an answer, it's an excuse.
  3. Nonsense, spyboy. I am always a perfectly proper gentleman here on the ol' Cee&Gee. Damn, I forgot about this. It would have been a perfect opportunity to get our receptionist off my freaking BACK. She has asked me out several times, invited herself to my mom's for dinner with me (no WAY), left treats and notes on my desk... and the piece de resistance... "Bill, you're so funny, you should donate sperm. You'd make a wonderful father!" :o   Croc, please do yourself a favor and just tell Sixty8 that you are in love with him. All of this coy behaviour is getting a tad old!
  4. Yeah, those Lincolns are no great loss... the crappy OHC V8s prolly burn enough oil to cause a smokescreen. :P

    Logo Game

Alfa-Romeo. (trying to think, ha)... is that a Saleen logo?
  6. oooooo...... burrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnn.....
  7. I haven't been able to remove Gorillaz, Demon Days from my cd player since I bought it the other day.
  8. Croc, please stop being incendiary. Let it go, man. Breeeeeeathe.... ohhhhhmmmmm... ohhhhmmmmmmm.....

    So...

Mercedes lost some of its old-world charm when they went to V6s. BMW has the right idea. From what I understand, it's easier to get torque and smoothness out of an inline engine. I'd love to see a Bel Air with an Atlas engine.
  10. "Big Ol' Female". Nah balthy, but there is an attractive male torso in it, along with a flattering picture of the dashboard and a shot of the front end.
  11. I especially like the "no spoiler" part. It accentuates the lowness of it, just what I like to see. :)
  12. There is a provocative ad for the Tribeca in the current issue of Instinct magazine.
  13. That's a very tastefully done Civic, Vipes. I agree with Enzora on the bumper gap situation though. Also, if you drive it, I guarantee you'll notice the rough, bouncy ride of the lowered suspension. Still, those things might not matter to you. Go to NADA.com and punch in all the options and mileage, that should give you a good idea of value. You might also try kbb.com.
  14. We got two more in today... Daytona Blue 2LT with polished rims and gray leather, and a Dark Silver 2LT equipped the same, with no roof rails. They certainly are an extremely attractive looking vehicle.
  15. Let's say you're heading out to the dealership today to buy a new vehicle. This is not a "money is no object" vehicle, but something you can realistically afford to pay for. You've saved up for your downpayment. What vehicle, right now today, makes you want to sign the dotted line?

    So...

I mentioned the CLK earlier... somewhere. Yes, the 850 is pillarless, but the quarter windows don't retract, do they? And there goes Croc, down that "personal attack" road. It is one thing to argue over automotive philosophy, but when the attacks get personal, that's when I choose to ignore the attacker. I, for one, come here for the community. A personal attack has no place here, and should not be tolerated.
  17. Nice list of locations there, BBL. Have fun and wear your raincoat!
  18. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Asian imports also rebody their platforms at least once... I think the current Camry is a rehash of the previous platform.
  19. Good Lord, WMJ. Nah, we have to be better than that. We have DRP contracts with like 15 insurance companies, and a couple of Nazi production managers who keep an eye on everything. Plus we give everything a final check before we call the customer. That's not to say no customer has returned a socket set or a pair of pliers. We try!
  20. Well at least it's printed on Scotch tape and not TATOOED ON!
  21. Somebody needs a tanning booth... :)
  22. I wish that was a real store.
  23. (playing the violin.) God Vipes, I used the same pitiful language you do when I was your age pining for a car... knock it off! http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif

    So...

I am sitting here grooving to the new Gorillaz cd, no time to argue. Zeta won't be BOF, and it prolly won't be missing the B pillar, but I know it will sell like crazy, better than the LX cars, because GM has a better rep for quality than Chrysler. :P
  25. Vipes, there are plenty of those green Civic coupes around. When you're ready, you'll easily find another one. That new one is cool, it's really growing on me. I love how low it sits on the wheels.
