  1. It is snowing to beat the band here. I'm bored. So I went lot hopping to the second-closest Jeep dealer. They have some nice ones. But I didn't get out of the car. Car did fine so far, the roads are slushy here, but they're calling for quite a bit more snow to fall.
  2. Tootsie
  3. Seems some stores are not selling this special edition flavor... due to pressure from mothers' groups. Not sure why. A kid who sees it in the freezer section is likely not to connect it with the SNL skit or the body part. I find the boycott to be an unnecessary waste of time.
  4. Not sure it's gonna stick to the roads here, and it's supposed to be 53 tomorrow, last I heard.
  5. I hope it sells like hotcakes and builds a rep as a cult car. That's the only way any copycatting will happen.
  6. I've been wanting to sample Ben & Jerry's Schweddy Balls, but they're hard to find. Why do you suppose that is? They sound delicious. Has anyone eaten Ben & Jerry's Schweddy Balls?
  7. Today's my pop's b-day, we're all supposed to meet for dinner at Outback at 6 pm... but a winter storm approacheth... may have to postpone the festivities.
  8. Unfortunately, some of us haven't engaged in any front OR rear sports in a good while.
  9. The last STS before it went RWD was on the Aurora platform. The last Bonneville was also on the Aurora platform, it even got Cadillac's Northstar. Shirley you cannot be serious. ORLY? Oh, I thought it was the Aurora V8 in the Bonneville GXP.
  10. No Drewbert, I was saying the hood on the XTS concept appears to be only 3" long. A 3" extension will only make it 6" long. It needs to be longer than 6", silly goose.
  11. What STS shared a platform with a Pontiac?
  12. I see no problem with it being 204 inches long. I just wish more than 3" of that went into hood length. Who knows, maybe this Malibu Brougham XL will be cool. It has to be cooler than the RL and MKS.
  13. You guys and your Jeep stories. You're making me want to unload my brand new little blue sedan and get a 3.6L Wrangler. DARN YOU ALL TO HECK!!!
  14. Does look sharp with those rims, whoa.
  15. Mrs. Dash
  16. Ew and that would be right at eye level for me.
  17. Oh... Moltie. Don't you see? Brand identity means NOTHING. Nor should it! Isn't that what all the kids are saying?
  18. And there never was a FWD Chevy on an Aurora platform. Cadillac and Oldsmobile were much closer in the GM heirarchy than Cadillac and Chevrolet. Except when the J-bodies were in full effect, of course.
  19. Are you kidding? A Cadillac Zeta would be fantastic! It would be RWD, which is what all the top-tier luxury cars ride on. The Caprice PPV and a Cadillac sedan riding the same platform, hmmm... just like the 'circa '96 Caprice and Fleetwood, and for decades before that. Natural. For Cadillac to use a Malibu platform is just a tad less brilliant.
  20. Maybe it burns gas and rubber?
  21. Butt... I thought FWD was supposed to cure all traction woes?
  22. WHAAAT? No turbo 4? And here I've been advised that a turbo 4 is appropriate for every single car made!
  23. pentagram
  24. HAHA! Yikes, I am agonizing over some things right now. I am so torn on what to do. I'd love to be able to have the means to own a 2012 Wrangler and keep my little Chevy for the commute, but alas...
