  10. From here it looks like the roof is open, isn't that a smidge of daylight I see, looking through the top of the front door window, and it looks like the "sunroof" stops just ahead of the rearmost door, if you look at the roof. Or I could be on the wacky weed, not sure.
  11. They can try to distract us with any off-the-wall nomenclature they want, but this thing is a 5-door hatchback. It will fly in Europe, but not here. And it is ugly. I didn't realize the original BMW 2002 came as a 3-door hatchback as well as the US-sold 2 door sedan until I went leafing through a British old-car mag the other week. It reminded me a bit of the SAAB 900 hatch that sold well here.
  12. ageless Angela Lansbury played old ladies when she was in her 30's... she appeared to change very little throughout her career

  14. omg duetto dollars! sounds a bit homo. so how's your day been? o rly?:AH-HA_wink: Speaking from the other side of the counter, I am not sure if I treat a goodlooking male customer any different than a female customer. I like to think I don't, but I'd have to get an observer to comment. I know old ladies love me.
  15. Riiiight... you only go in for the tea... You were prolly using the queen's English, no wonder the guy was confused.
  16. Shoot, just cut the pumpkin in wedges, stick it in the oven, scrape it off the rind when roasted and stick it in the processor. What's so hard about that?

  19. I had a friend in high school who would only buy Volvos with 250k+ miles. They were seasoned, he reasoned.
  20. I have just never gotten into the pretentiousness of Starbucks.
  21. Happy Birthday Chris Doane! I hope that whole "spy cam in the locker room" scandal has simmered down for you!
  22. PCS: Croc, how do you get your protein? Ohhhh..... Tuna is also good in mac-n-cheese, with cayenne pepper liberally applied.
  23. Well, anyone who has been around here for any length of time knows I was raised on John Deere tractors. I raked many an acre of hay on a '52 Model A, with that classic "Putt Putt" 2 cylinder gas JD engine (luckily, ours had an electric starter activated with a foot pedal, otherwise it would have been a hand-crank sidemounted flywheel-start). The 3020 and 4020 were both excellent tractors that have enjoyed collector status, and I am sure many thousands of them still work every day. John Deere FTW!
  24. Venza. As meaningless as its name.
