  1. I have stopped flipping off every current-gen Prius driver because I feel sorry for them... but I still regularly flip off every new Tundra driver and I make sure they see me, too.
  2. Viper how can you be so sure you were the first person to do certain things in the backseat of that Cutlass? Plug in your blacklight once and go out there and shine it around that interior. :AH-HA_wink:
  3. "Chevrolet Nova Omega F-85"... what a bunch of birdbrains.

Mr. ZL-1, tell the truth, are you a parrot sitting on PCS' shoulder?
  11. Pupils dilated, speaking in Mr. Rogers voice while trying to cover up German accent: "How about a nice Corsa diesel automatic?" :AH-HA_wink:
  12. If the Honda dealership is refusing to fix it free of charge it must have been a Technical Service Bulletin, not an actual recall. Recalls are government mandated, and have to be done free to the owner. TSBs are simply engineering fixes developed by the manufacturer for frequent problems... no letter is sent, the TSB is performed only if the customer complains, and it is only free if it is done during the warranty period, along with any other covered defect. Hondas are not infallible, no way no how, but it sounds like the dealership was following protocol.

    Sour Grapes

The story and photos were first published in 1968... meaning the Ford, Buick and '60 Pontiac were all less than 10 years old at the time and were already in the junkyard... my, how far we've come in automotive quality. Can you imagine seeing that many cars less than 10 years old in a junkyard today? I guess that's where the term "planned obsolescence" came from, along with yearly styling changes. Kind of makes a person appreciate seeing a survivor '60 Pontiac even more.

Point is, if C&G is a microcosm of the general public, I'd say there is quite a bit of interest in Pontiac.
  17. Oh, look at the cute little 2020 Camaro, Impala and Tahoe (whoops, I meant Beat, Groove and Trax, respectively.) :AH-HA_wink: Excellent photo set, Ranger VT! Thanks. Got more?
  18. Looking at the "topics" and "replies" count on this forum, I see that Pontiac is second only to Chevrolet for topics posted and replies made.

  20. The future? Hon, that was last year. Blond moment? :AH-HA_wink:
  21. Is there any other country in the world besides the good ol' USA that imposes ridiculous fuel mileage standards? Are relatively high fuel prices and poorer economies the two things keeping people in smaller cars elsewhere, or is there something else?
  22. So Nos, are you going to jump out of your own cake this year? Happy Birthday!

  24. Where does GM's market share stand today v. before the announcement came down that Olds was being murdered? They have not recovered Oldsmobile's market share, nor will they recover Pontiac's if the division is assassinated. GM can stabilize worldwide marketshare by pumping out Third World junk around the globe, but I don't give a damn about the Third World, I live in the richest nation on earth, and I happen to think all Pontiac needs is some attention in the form of product to survive and prosper.
  25. Another guess, Camino: '63 Dodge 880?
