  1. Thanks for the lineup photo, 94commo. Looking at the '68 Monaro, something else hit me... the tiny wheelwells also afflict the last-gen (so far) Monaro we got up here as a GTO! Interesting parallel, imo.
  2. Mr. scharmer, yeah, this is the time of year for active deer. We've had quite a few deer jobs this season so far. Most importantly, glad to hear your grandmother is ok. Seems like a one-two punch.

    Hey FlyBrian!!!

Are you serious? Bullocks! I'd much rather ride the bus with Keanu, oh yeah... :AH-HA_wink:

    Hey FlyBrian!!!

You know what I really like about those buses? You can't drive one slower than 55 mph or it will explode.
  5. It even has a cooler on the back for your Margaritas.
  6. Thanks for posting, 94commo...dore. That cute little '62 shows they used the short sedan doors then, as with the brand new Ute. No long doors, as in the El Camino. Did the last-gen Ute have Monaro doors, or short, sedan doors?
  7. Gee... 6? I thought he was older than that.
  8. Elmo does not look tickled.
  9. People across the USA are sacrificing turkeys in your honor this year, ha. Have a good one, Mr. G6 driver!
  10. You'd smother yourself. Toni, after reading your account, I agree with others here who say stay where you are for now.
  11. Can you guys see my beach sig? It has disappeared off my screen here.

    CRASH!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the support. I think I'm going to be filling up my little Shop Vac a few times with glass as soon as it gets daylight here. I didn't sleep much overnight. The broken glass was thrown far... but if there is no bullet found, that hole makes me think "hammer", which changes everything. The fact that although the entire glass was shattered, but a large majority of it was still hanging in the frame when I found it, also presents the possibility that it happened very recently before I got home... perhaps the sound of the truck and the opening garage door startled a vandal or potential burglar. Yeah, I'm stressing, and I really don't need it.
  13. They're probably all sad that their Big friend has been roasted, but you could never tell because their smiles are sewn on. It's a hard life, being a muppet. Happy Turkey Day, gang!
  14. They're brilliant. The fenced-in platform the SuburbaShuttle is sitting on blends in perfectly with the cheery surroundings. It really looks like it's flying low!

    Nevermind

Well I guess I won't be adding a 128i to my shopping list. The US base MSRP is $29,375. I was hoping for like $24,900. A single income household like mine can't handle that.

  17. Well in the first pic, I'd guess that's a Ford Ute. In the second pic, it appears to be a GMT355, most likely an Isuzu (if they're sold down there), why?
  18. I've been by that dealership many times on the way back from Assateague, and I've stopped in several times. They're right next to a BPG dealership, and both dealerships always have cool inventory... not just run-of-the-mill stuff.

    CRASH!

Yeah uh huh so we closed early at work today. When I got home and came in from the garage downstairs, I heard a snapping and cracking, and it felt cool in the downstairs family room. Apparently, someone shot out my sliding door glass. Pieces were still slowly falling out onto the floor. Glass was thrown clear across the room, and there was a hole about 1.5 inches across where the projectile came through. The door was still locked, nothing is missing, so I don't believe it was an attempted break-in. Small game season is in right now... so I'm thinking it was some idiot with a gun... or it could have been kids being little a-holes, too. My homeowner's insurance company should be getting back to me... MAYBE MONDAY, with coverage info. In the meantime, the chick who took my information says I can do whatever necessary to secure my property. The goodlooking young police officer actually offered to stop by a local glass shop and call me back with some 411. Turns out I would have to take the door off myself, take it to them and wait like 2 weeks before I'd get it back. I stopped by Home Depot, told them I had kind of an emergency. They were unimpressed, and said patio doors are a special-order item, and it would take 4 weeks just to get the door, God knows when it could be installed. So I have some heavy-duty Collision Wrap on my door. What a way to start the Thanksgiving weekend, blah.
  21. That series of pictures of the silver production version, apparently snapped by a cell phone at a styling clinic (with the car parked next to a Mustang GT) look great. Of course it cannot compare with 40+ years of Mustang legacy, but it's still cool looking. I like the dark side glass, and the dip in the quarter glass. It sort of reminds me of an insect wing of some kind, perhaps a wasp?
  22. We know it wasn't you, the guy was only 26. This thread is worthless without pics.
