OMG, something just struck me as I looked at those cool M80 pics. We know the front end of the Nitro was inspired by the M80 (and I wish the Nitro had the exact same front clip as the M80, it's much better looking, imo, with the round lights), wouldn't it be cool if the M80 actually sees production as a Nitro pickup, with an MCE front end just like the concept? I also love the Ford Forty-Nine, sigh.

That's a great looking car, and I'd otherwise love it in orange... but I am sick of this car in that color, after seeing the concept for so long. How about a new version of the ubiquitous Chrysler avocado green that was so popular in the late 60's-early 70's, with green interior to match? That new Surf Blue would be sexy as hell on this car, also. Props to Chrysler for bringing this car to market... we need more AMERICAN cars like this... and one more thing... I am very happy to hear of the V6 and midrange V8 engine offerings coming down the line. YES!

They should have done something to change the front end, and maybe revised the rear bumper...something for '08. And why no announcement yet for the turbo? Is it possible they are not building an '08 Cobalt SS Turbo, is that the reason for the silence? Maybe the HHR Turbo announcement was made because that car will continue for a few years on the current platform, with the coupe and sedan being all-new in '09, with the SS Turbo coming then.

I seem to have a split automotive personality. I love my truck... I love horsepower and RWD in general, but I also seem to have a perverse interest in tiny, spunky cars... Hyundai Accent SE 3 door, Mini Cooper, Fit Sport... there is something about zipping around in a puddle jumper that's just fun to me. I wish the Aveo were in the same league, but it just seems dull to me, even with the updates.

That's a nice looking truck, scharmer. I'm sure your dad will appreciate all the improvements GM made. Can I just say one thing, so I can get it out of my system? Forgive me for what I am about to say. "Don't squeeze the Scharmer!" There, now I feel better.

I say refurbish only to make all systems functional and roadworthy. It has a beautiful patina.

Gray '08 Accord EX coupe on the lot. A bit overstyled. Apple Green '08 Accent SE 3 door hatch on the lot. Sweet looking little sporty econocar, imo, with aluminum rims, fat little tires, foglights, a full compliment of power options... hmmm...
